Sadly this sounds like the beginning of the end stage of applying mental health law and putting her in a facility =/

They make this for "human neighbors"?

I'm willing to bet we've got a hoarder situation going here.

At least going outside makes . . . some sort of sense, I guess, compared to the folks you see on the umpteen hoarders shows that are pooping in buckets and such.

She's a hoarder and her bathroom is destroyed or blocked in by HSN boxes.

And on a property line. If it was on the middle of her property, one thing, but it's like a nuisance tree growing onto your property.

There's probably no city law dealing with such an issue if not caught in the act, and that's possibly public nudity? I used to pee in my backyard all the time. In fact, still do, but behind the tool shed out of sight of the road. I also don't live in a city and was raised in a barn.

And really, who knows if it's human poop? It hasn't been tested.

Neighbors say for several months the woman has been going to the bathroom outside in her yard near her fence.

How else is the rhubarb going to get fertilized?

Raised in a barn but you don't know that the difference between human and animal scat is pretty obvious?

But, yeah. there's probably not a specific Private Property Poop Law they can enforce.  They'll have to go in under some other ordinance.

Actually, a few of these fake cameras could do some discouraging.

Just sprinkle some Tabasco sauce or pepper on the area...maybe she won't go there anymore.

Depends on the diet. If she eats a lot of grains and cereals, it could be difficult to prove without DNA testing, and that would take a court order. And that pile may not be the only one. Sure doesn't look like 9 months worth to me.

And if you have someone like Steve-O as a houseguest, well all bets are off. Actually starting to sound like a Dom or other kinkster lives there, and a minion is the mystery pooper.

And if you were the neighbor, you'd just ignore it. Right.

But you're cool on the interwebs. So very, very cool.

I had a neighbor go loony toons and when his dog died he apparently wrapped it in a carpet or something and tossed it out in the back yard.  It stank for a month or two.  He was a hoarder, and apparently didn't let the dogs out very often.  They did their business in the house on newspapers.  When there was too much crap on the floor the guy would just add another layer of them.

The guy that bought the house pulled 5 dumpsters of stuff out of it.

2013-10-07 11:31:18 AM
It's not really a "bathroom habit" if it's something you do outside of a bathroom.

Or bamboo. Property lines mean nothing to it, and may push her further into her yard.

It is a biatch to get rid of though.

I read that as bazongas at first and went back to TFA disappointed.  Begonias still gets you +1 internet, though.

human feces is a health code violation in most places, it's not something law enforcement typically handles. Gosh, I wonder if that's why the sheriffs couldn't do much, and the health department was giving her violations and getting and order to go inside. Great job on the article for making sure the readers understand that.

2013-10-07 12:10:24 PM
I realize that people don't like the gov't to be able to tell them what they can and can not do, but they can't pop this lady for so much as indecent exposure, not to mention health code/public health violations? Come on, Colorado, get your sh*t together.

ladyfortuna: Sadly this sounds like the beginning of the end stage of applying mental health law and putting her in a facility =/

How is this sad? If she were in my neighborhood, I'd be slashing her tires and putting rocks through her window until she moved, because I don't give a shiat about her or her well-being. People in hospitals do care about such things.

2013-10-07 12:17:13 PM
They can only see and smell the feces when they get up to her fence and peer through it. If they could see her doing this, they would use that as the reason for putting a stop to her behavior.

It's pretty revolting, but this might be one of the times people are supposed to mind their own business.

Horse feathers. All you need is 30 pounds of cheese at one end, a hammer and a cork at the other end.
