It's your Atlanta goes up 2-1 over LA NLDS discussion thread.

If you're not a Cardinals fan, and you're not cheering for the Pirates, pretty much you're worse than Hitler.

Hey I threw this together about 10 minutes before the game started so cut me some slack.

Fair enough.  I'll give you a go Buccos until next week when we get you in Atlanta for a 4-game sweep.

Good inning Bucs, hang a 0 on the board now Liriano.

Go Buccos!

The Cards are literally the luckiest team in pro sports. Absolutely undeserving, but somehow in the mix every year. A one man team for a decade, virtually unaffected by injuries compared to league average, in an always weak division, two fluke World Series (83 wins in '06!?) (Braves collapse in '11 PLUS the Rangers impossible collapse in the series!), and a delusional fanbase that seems to have forgotten all this.

Miss hating the Yankees? I give you the St.    Louis.    Cardinals.

I'm not sure if it's the pitch tracker or the ump, but something is very very off today.

The Ump I'm guessing but at least he seems to be consistent.

2013-10-06 05:13:49 PM
Absolutely undeserving? I think their record speaks for itself. Toronto, eh? Colby Rasmus, is that you?

HAHAHAHAHAHA

Even as a die hard Cards fan, I fully endorse this thought.
That said, GO CARDS!!

Not to mention Tony LaRussa and his steroid connection. And their employing of McGwire (both as player and as a coach after the whole steroid thing).

I still maintain that Berkman was juicing during 2011.

Do Pittsburgh people know you don't have to wave a rag above your head at every sporting event?

2013-10-06 05:46:26 PM

WTF Indeed: Do Pittsburgh people know you don't have to wave a rag above your head at every sporting event?

We are playing this by ear. It's not like we have a wealth of tradition to fall back on.

Actually, it's a habit that we've passed on to other teams. It was on full display in the American league game as well. It's not our fault that towels are easy to carry and wonderfully visible in a stadium.

2013-10-06 05:48:01 PM
Never underestimate Atlanta's ability to choke in the postseason.

2013-10-06 05:49:52 PM
That watch commercial was awesome is several ways.

Pirates winning  -or- Dallas getting their heads kicked in....

Decisions, decisions.

It's been good, Liriano, but your nights done

Carlos. Farking. Beltran.

Donnchadha: Oohh.... he was out at third there

For certain if Pedro holds the tag on him.

2013-10-06 06:10:50 PM
Go Carlos! W00t!

2013-10-06 06:10:55 PM
Ahh fark.

He might have been out, but if Alvarez had held the tag like you are taught from little league Liriano would still have a shutout.

Arfsnargle!
