isawyou: I fail to see the problem. It was grass, not flowers. Driving on grass doesn't kill it. Should I be upset the postal worker had the audacity to step on the porch, too? Does just as much damage as driving on grass.

1)  It compacts the soil.

2)  Some of us live in climates where there will be plastic pipes a few inches below the surface.  Even if they survive you *WILL* break the sprinkler heads if you drive over one.

StoPPeRmobile: ZeroCorpse: And just think... That lazy fatass who doesn't care about your lawn is making a VERY nice salary and has fantastic benefits.

Lawn?

How about sewage lines? Idiots never think about that.

That was my first thought, there's a part of my lawn that cannot be driven over unless I want a damaged septic tank.

kombi: I do not defend the mail carrier. i had a friend that was a mail carrier. They are really pushed for time. They have quotas on how long there route should take. Sometimes unreasonable time. But this carrier was an idiot.

If the homeowner didn't like it, why did they put a lawn right where the postal carrier was driving?
