IlGreven: Hillbilly Jim: IlGreven: Okay, now the anti-tOSUers have a "the refs gave 'em the game" excuse...

You need to get the sand out of your vag, I haven't seen all these anti OSU people you keep biatching about.

They're really easy to spot. They root for "the SEC" because their actual team is Alabama's 5th cupcake.

speaking of teams that have made ohio state their biatch, where were all the florida farkers today?  was it wash your jorts weekend?

/there are no sec fans farktard.

i'll have you know, i hate the Buckeyes because i am from Michigan.  and no, i am not a UMich fan.  just the whole state of Ohio is terrible.

/was also happy when the Indians lost

Michiganders I don't mind so much; it's fun to rib them, and they have a chance to beat the Buckeyes on the field every year (though they rarely do).

The ASU QB is bad and should feel bad.  I dislike ND.  Those were 2 terrible picks to hand them the game.

PluckYew: Marine1: Mentat: bionicjoe: Mentat: Chiefs undefeated.  Mizzou undefeated.  Kansas defeated by the Charles decided schematic advantage.  Today is a good day.

Why would you care about the Chiefs!?
They're in Kansas!

No, they aren't.  They're in KCMO.  And we took the Kansas name first.  They stole it just like they steal everything from Kansas City.

Preach Brother Mentat.

Thanks for ruining homecoming!

Congrats Mizzou

We'll try to return the favor to Florida.

Remember when college football players didn't look like they were outfitted by drag queens?

fark's sake.  if we (ASU) could've done that 1:00 drill the first time, maybe we would've won.

2013-10-05 11:23:35 PM
Yeah, he's just terrible (touchdown).

Actually, he wasn't even supposed to be the starter last year and Graham came in looking for anyone who could throw and run, and he settled on Brian Kelly.
He will never be confused with a Heisman winner, but considering the time and conditions (no line, relying on misdirection), they've been pretty damn good.

4th down for Northwestern.
Gotta go for it.

Kansas City got its name from the Kansas River.  You know, the offshoot of the Missouri River that flows only in Kansas?

man.  that line judge on the camera side had it on the first down line, then moved, then moved, then moved again.  no first.

HORRIBLE SPOT!!!

2013-10-05 11:26:23 PM

they needed the spot from the line judge.  it was at least 18" further up field.

Screw job for NW, his entire body was over that line

2013-10-05 11:26:37 PM
I don't think he got back to the line of scrimmage, must less across the first down marker.

Yeah, that turned out to be close but other games distracted me. Christian Horny Frogs nearly pulled it off, and that would've been awesome.

Colter's knee might have been down when he recovered the bobbled snap...

Either way, no evidence to overturn that one.

might want to check your scarlet colored glasses prescription.  no evidence to over turn the call, but he made it at least to the line of scrimmage.

2013-10-05 11:32:17 PM
The ref with the best view of the play was the one with the spot.  Most angles we have show him behind the line of scrimmage being wrapped up and halting his momentum.  Then he disappears.  There's absolutely no proof his "foot was on the line" or else it would have been overturned.  He was clearly behind the line when he started to get wrapped up by the Buckeye defense.

2013-10-05 11:33:22 PM
I suppose the refs aught to just issue flags to Stanford, as blocking now results in a penalty.

That line has been in use for 15 years & I've never seen it be off.
I have no idea why the NFL or NCAA refuse to use it.

Because it's virtual.  The refs can't see it, it's only on the broadcasts.

i think he made the first down, but that yellow line is not dependable at all.  on one of those replays, from behind the NW line, the yellow line moved considerably in relation to the field... it's designed to stay still from the sideline shots, not a dozen different angles the refs can watch replays from.  i hope they don't even see the yellow line up in the booth.

other than the player he had to run around on his way in, he had a great view.  it was a bad spot.  no evidence to overturn, but that doesn't make it not a bad spot.  and you're insane if you're trying to make people believe he was tackled behind the line of scrimmage.  that clearly wasn't the case. a win is a win, but sometimes teams get lucky.

Ha!  OSU covers with that TD!
