Only one of those is the same as mine. Bluebirds Vs Toon I went 1-1 but nearly switched to an away win.

We just saw why I'm not a fan of 3 in the back. Just too many openings, especially if you're facing 2+ in the front

That being said, Newcastle look much better than Cardiff and should be on top if it wasn't for some amazing keeping.

Like I said, this week was really difficult for me and I'm not confident at all.

Also I just want to state again how happy I am with NBC.  Their coverage is wonderful and everything about the streaming is great.  The stats on the side and the quality of the stream are just amazing.  I find myself wishing they had the rights to all european soccer.

I saw this comment before my stream had the goal haha.  After buffering I think I'm about 30 seconds behind.

Kurohone: desertgeek: Ian Holloway is mouthing along with YNWA.

What was with the banner of great Marxist leaders I noticed during the pre-game shots?  Does Liverpool have a historic communist connection I was unaware of?

hmmm. thought i answered this. i am not aware they fly such a banner. i believe you're mistaking the banner that contains the busts of former managers in profile.

The short answer is yes.

Cool, thanks.

I know there's usually a tremendous amount of history behind sport clubs in Europe, but as a casual fan I'm generally only dimly aware of what it might be.  Had no idea Liverpool was 'red' beyond their shirts.  Cool.

Well it might well have been, I only caught about a 1 second look at it, but it was very much that Marxist style, with various black and white heads on a red banner, all looking at a red star.

Wasn't sure if it was a club connection, or some other event, or just Random Fan-ness.

i've been saving it for the derby. right after he took the job, rm got tricked into posing with three reds at a wedding, with each of them giving the "five times" sign.

The cultural and social roots of these teams go deep. REAL deep. Individual roots can be social, cultural, ethnic[al] political and of course regional. Take Celtic Vs Rangers. Ethnicity, religion, politics and of course, FITBA!

Speaking of roots. The FA and the London Underground both have their 150th Anniversaries this year. Contemporary with Gettysburg.

They have combined to make something cool -  a mash-up of the classic underground map and famous footballers.

Did he remind them that Everton has finished above Liverpool for the last 2 seasons?

Suarez looks dangerous every time he's near the ball, even if he's chasing it.

On a side note, I'm in a side predictor league with my friend and he put his banker on a 1-1 tie between Hull City and Aston Villa. Very ballsy move, putting your banker on a draw.
