A typical Colombian breakfast is something called huevos pericos, which is scrambled eggs with onions, tomatoes, and jam.  With an arepa(corn cake) with cheese on top of it.

The drink is agua panela, brown sugar mixed with hot water.

Here is a typical Colombian breakfast in my house.  The difference I drizzled a sauce made with green chiles and tomatillos over the arepa, because Colombians do not use spices.

And since I am half gringo.  I am about to slug down my signature Bloody Mary. 2 shots of vodka, a cup of v8, teaspoon of kosher salt, liberal dash of Worcestershire sauce, teaspoon of fresh cracked pepper, three liberal shakes of tobasco tea spoon of minced garlic, table spoon of La Patrona Habenero Salsa, and half a fresh roma tomato blended for 30 seconds then added spicy pickled green beans, olives, celery and a lime wedge. Its a meal in a glass.

I'm starting to think you can smell potential alcohol consumption even when it's only written down or hinted at...

I hope so. It's kind of like a super power, only depressing.

Oh fark, this isn't my intervention, is it?

I have never seen a portalet in Colombia.

Public bathrooms generally do not have seats on the toilets and instead of flushing the paper, their are little garbage cans filled with shiat smeared squares.

And they generally do not have toilet paper, or you have to ask for it, or there is a dispenser that sells a small amount.

I generally carry a couple of paper towels in my back pocket.  But then I have every nice shiatter mapped out in the major cities.
