Wait, the one in Los Santos (Galileo Observatory) or the one in that picture you posted (Griffith Observatory)?

Sorry, the US government's observatories are closed as a result of Tea Party Patriots.

"Holy cow, this is really bad," radio astronomer Mark Reid said when informed by  ScienceInsider that the telescopes were going offline. "If they don't operate the telescopes, it could mean a year's worth of data becomes useless." And it would be a costly loss, he adds, estimating that the data cost $500,000 to collect.

Probably not the coolest, but I like this one since I took it myself. 20-inch scope observing the Orion Nebula atop Kitt Peak in Arizona.

The Tea Party is not really a fan of science (or facts), so I don't think they'll lose any sleep over it.

Nice work.

Best pic of Pic du Midi I've seen was in Sky & Telescope some years back, with the domes covered in hoarfrost and icicles; GIS failed to turn it up. Way cool.  Pic in TFA is nice, though.

Referring to the mirror as "six-foot-seven" is a bit odd.

most satisfying picture of an observatory...

How the fark did you kill the werewolf?!

it takes a few steps.

first, after seeing the werewolf, enter the observatory, keep running till you go out the back (i think you keep to the left whenever given the option).  once outside, there's a little shack, run to it, and switch an electrial switch on the wall of the shack.

then run around the observatory, outside, up the stairs, down the stairs on the other side, and enter the observatory to your right.

then, make your way to the telescope section, run up the stairs to the platform, and flip a switch on the panel.  this opens the observatory part.  hopefully, the werewolf will be outside and try to come inside through the opening.  as he's coming in, flip the switch again to crush the werewolf.

you get double the XP and a whole lot of satisfaction.

sometimes it works out extremely easily... sometimes, the werewolf doesn't follow a predictable script and comes in with you, this takes a little more running around to make sure you're inside while he's outside.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. I just thought you had managed to beat it up or something. Man that section of the game was frustrating as a malkavian.
