rtaylor92: Jesus that commercial was awful. I get the point but that was just....awful

why was it awful?

i make TV commercials for a living and i thought it was pretty effective. it was simple. it was compelling. it was honest. and it was funny. to my eyes, that's a good TV commercial.

and considering the fact that the left normally makes awful TV commercials, i thought it was especially good.

I'm surprised. The CBS station in Cincinnati is owned by Sinclair. Sinclair is the biggest bunch of GOP Fanbois in the media.

They will probably "balance" that ad with some crappy ad by the Tea Party.

There are 32 NFL teams, really only 2 political teams. (Sorry libertarians, greens...you're the minor league.)

Christian dominionism doesn't play a role in football.

Different enough.

That's a Christian who plays football. There's no organized effort to turn the entire NFL into a formal theocracy.

Tell that to his fan base. And He really didn't "play" football as a Jet or Patriot.

Tebow had clout with the league, sponsors, networks, and etc.? He changed policies and rewrote rules to reshape the league to better suit his own worldview? His efforts are ongoing, his changes semi-permanent, and began in the mid to late 60s?

Truly, I have underestimated this man.
