That's not very polite, subby.  You apologize to Joba Chamberlain right now.

It's all part of his diabolical plan. Fortunately, there is a solution:

Wow, the whole state? When deer die from EHD it is usually in a limited area.

Ah, I see, as always the EHD is occurring way down in SE Wisconsin where they don't have wolves to keep the deer from crowding together and making it easy for the disease to spread.  They have that same problem with Chronic Wasting Disease. Very bad PR for the DNR's cherished wolf hunt, no wonder they and the Wisconsin press are sensitive about that.

Point of clarification:

The word "midget" means "little midge", so it's not like there is some weird funny linguistic coincidence.

Well, I certainly don't want any cows getting sick on my behalf, so I guess I'll quit biting midgets.

Oh man, I hate getting bit by midgets.  Especially the ones that hide under the stairs with that clown.  Godfreakingdammit...

AND

A white tail deer die off in Montana

3,000 saiga antelopes die in Akmola and Karaganda oblasts

Massive Starfish Die-Off

and many many more

Our world is changing rapidly and there are going losses along the way but also gains.

"It's clear these fungi outbreaks being reported around the world are no mere sporadic coincidence. The cluster pattern of outbreaks suggests a sudden explosion of fungi growth acceleration across the planet. Fungi inherently increase disease risks because they can produce offspring or infect their hosts simply by spreading spores in the air. Rising global temperatures, dust storms, and cosmic rays are unraveling the web of life of the biosphere across the planet by insidiously aiding in the transmission of fungal spores. We may not have much time left before the Earth is in the midst of a full-blown biological crisis and all life on the planet is under cross-sectional simultaneous threats of extinction." -The Extinction Protocol, p. 206, 2009

I fark parlance "I welcome our new fungal overlords." It's bloom boom time for them.

Who ya gonna call? :)

It's true I get carried away but what I try to remind people is the main new thing here is their awareness of events not the events themselves.

The morel of the story is that a fungi is nothing to truffle with. At yeast that's what I think.

Apparently, biting midgets are getting cattle-sick.

Lay off the rare burgers, Tyrion, and this won't happen.
