I saw that when it came on after Atlantis (god, did that ever suck) the other day.  Was excited for a second because I thought we'd see something about the Doctor Who movie.  Then I realized it was a spoof.  I do like "Have I Got News for You", though.

I was in the studio for a recording of a new David Mitchell panel show that had Blessed as a guest and bloody hell does he go on. Very funny but when a 25 minute show takes four hours to record...

What's the name of this show and any idea when its coming out? I'm a huge David Mitchell fan and I would love to see a full show from him again.

There is a new David Mitchell panel show? Where? When? WHEN?

I might have a small gigantic crush on David Mitchell.

Brian Blessed is awesome in his own way. Which is loud.

Boris Johnson. In a whole different train-wrecky kind of way. The 2010 election episode had me crying, but that was a team effort.

This, but I wish I could find that on Youtube again. Seems like they've pulled all of the episodes.

Yeah, BRIAN BLESSED does need an off switch at times, but his stories are among the most entertaining out there.

For example, here's BRIAN BLESSED on QI.

Was It Something I Said? Channel 4 this Sunday at 10. Mitchell is the host, Richard Ayoadye and Mickey Flannigan as team captains. The first episode, if they are airing in production order, was filmed months ago and hasn't got Brian Blessed, that was a later one. Just checked C4 website and the first episode is not the first to be shot. Hopefully they will air that one as well at some point. They were still tweaking the format a bit.

I don't think the writer knows what a "lookalike" is.

I've just watched the entire new series on Netflix (and a torrent for 7) and now I'm out of new Doctor Who to watch. I don't think I've ever binge watched quite like that before. How does that show change the main actor and make you not give a shiat? Magic? I'm looking forward to the Christmas Special and seeing the new Doctor in character (a character who isn't living in ancient Pompeii or on Torchwood, that is).

I never got why in the US it is "season" anyway, seeing as I think the default there is to run 6 months (~23 episodes), which isn't a season, it is two seasons.

The same reason we use the term in sports.  I don't know if you do, but Wikipedia uses it for you.

The 2013-14 Premier League is the 22nd season of the Premier League
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2013-14_Premier_League

And the TV season is 8 months, not 6, though there are a lot of repeats and preemptions mixed in, especially outside of the sweeps months on Nov, Feb, and May (sweeps being the times the viewing habits are most heavily studied)
