"You don't just come here for the hunting, do you?"

And the cops claim they don't operate under a quota system.

Yeah, right.

"Your usual?"

I would think that internal affairs should look into officers that keep buying drugs from the same person.

2013-10-02 08:03:41 PM
Ummm..... No. Bad. Subby fail.

He sold to the same undercover cop 4 times. He wasn't arrested until yesterday. 4 sales, 1 arrest.

Oh well, at least the taxpayers will ensure that the private prisons will make money.

Surely, all his other customers will stop doing drugs now that this guy is off the street.

That's what we like to call a frequent flier. I keep suggesting a arrest card to my cop friends. It'd work just like a card from a sandwich place; you know the ones; buy 9 sandwiches, get 1 free. But, instead of sandwiches; it would be get arrested 9 times and get one free.

So, I'm guessing from the tone of the headline, that's bad, right?  How are people supposed to keep up with these things?  We're not all Einsteins you know.  Cops really should be forced to tell you they're cops before trying to buy your drugs.

Was it even that? I thought he sold twice and had two counts of selling near a school thrown on.

Those may be what the charges are but the first line in the article clearly spells it out. "A Boynton Beach man was behind bars Wednesday after police say he sold drugs to an undercover officer on four occasions."

The headline is worthless.  He was arrested after selling four times to the same undercover drug pig.  Not four arrests.

So, essentially the pig let him build up stacker charges before finally arresting him.  The question is, since the pig is supposedly an officer of the law, wouldn't he be complicit since he didn't arrest the dealer after the first crime?  It's not like there was any chance that the dealer was only doing it that one time and the pig had a heart of gold and thus let him get away with it the three previous times before finally arresting him.

That is the standard reaction from people who won't take responsibility for their own actions. Speeders, litterers, pot heads -- all the same.

I fail to see how potheads are the same as speeders or litterers. Being as pot does nothing to harm or bother anyone else there should be no need to take responsibility for it.

for that matter in a "free" country when did the general populace get so high and mighty about laws and safety and following the rules.

Theory: Drugs are bad, so SneakyCops must arrest drug dealers so they can't sell drugs.

Mmmmkay?

So then, Mr. SneakyCop buys drugs from Mr. drug-dealer-dude in June AND in August - but doesn't arrest him until October.

In the meantime, said drug-dealer-dude is (obviously) continuing to sell drugs to others. Right? Meaning that the SneakyCops KNEW drug-dealer-dude was continuing to sell drugs - and near schools / parks during the interim. Right?

Question: Why shouldn't Mr. SneakyCop and his bosses be charged with accessory to dealing drugs - and near schools / parks?

/Unless the theory (above) is bullshiat, of course

Sure: If you scroll all the way up on this page there's a headline stating "Man arrested for selling drugs to an undercover officer. The same undercover officer he sold drugs to the last three times he was arrested". On the left of that headline is a "florida" tag. On the left of that florida tag is a link to the Sun Sentinel article a.k.a. TFA. There's your link.
