That makes sense. He can still be sheriff - but we can't trust him not to be an illegal asshole so we'll just force someone else to serve as a witness.

Yeah but the Governor passed the "brown people can be asked to prove citizenship at any time" crap.

I live in Minnesota and I had a recently relocated Arizonian say to me "I wonder why so many Somalians settle in Minnesota. You'd think they would gravitate to somewhere like Arizona where it's warm."

Maybe it's because Minnesota has social programs that tend to support immigrant populations rather than look upon them with scorn and disdain. Maybe warm weather isn't the most important thing in life after all.

She wasn't too happy with that. She said something about how they were entitled to look upon immigrants with scorn because 'they all get free healthcare and we have to pay for ours', then stomped off in a huff.

So I don't think it is just ol' Joe. He'd never last if people didn't eat that crap up.

Well, it's about 90% of Arizona...

Personally, I prefer Bisbee, it's a nice little town with a lot more nightlife then it should have.

It used to be our 4th of July tradition when we lived In Phx. My friend's mom lives down there, so we would have a place to stay, get to get our drink on and still get the small-town 4th feel.

I also highly recommend the fireworks show, just because about 20 of them bounce down the side of the tailings pile the launch them from, so there's always the added element of fun/danger... :-)

Ironically, it's snowbirds from places like Minnesota who are responsible for a LARGE chunk of Joe's votes... The blue hairs are absolutely terrified of the Big City, and they are convinced that Joe actually does something about crime in Maricopa County, so they march right down and cast their vote when they are in town for the winter... As a result, even when the state residents start tiring of his bullshiat, he has a strong enough out of state influence to make up the difference.

I can't argue that there are plenty of RW tools here, but would you agree the political climate and social programs are more hospitable to immigrants in MN than AZ?

Yeah, doesn't surprise me. Florida is snowbird country, too...

Weird that old people survive for so many years and then suddenly can't handle the world... I'd think they'd be so experienced that they'd be the ones to take charge.

Ya got me there, but I never said there aren't some seriously disgusting people here.  At least the state's evenly divided on whether he's a scumbag or a savior, compared to places like AZ and TX, where a huge majority think the likes of Gov Walker is a savior to all things Murikan.

I hope that's the case, and I also hope WI wakes up as well.  We've always been a pretty progressive state; and the Republicans here have been pretty reasonable until the teabagger invasion of 2010.  This latest bullshiat since Walker came into power doesn't represent what I've experienced here for the last 30+ years.  Hell, we had Thompson as Governor for 4 terms, who is a Republican, and we never had issues like this.  Even he said something to the tune of "I have no idea what this guy's thinking" during that first summer when there were 100,000+ person protests for months on end around the capitol.

Going by tag count, the current order of the line appears to be Texas, with over a dozen proposed tag designs; then Arizona and Kansas tied with two proposed designs each; then Utah with one design (three minor variations in circulation); then Indiana and Michigan with one apiece.
