"Are you guys still open!?  Jeez...I think the last time I bought anything here was when I got the Zork discs for my TRS-80.  It sure has..." *PUNCH*

Usually it's "You've got questions, we've got blank stares". I guess now it's "You've got questions, we've got PUNCH YOU IN THE FACE!"

Anyone else read "holding a bloody paper towel to his left eye."  in a British accent or am I the only one?

Maybe his sarcasm sequencer was out of whack.

That said, I remember when Radio Shack was still good, and they engendered an interest in electronics and computers for me.

facisto: "That's one of my least favorite things, happens to be sarcasm. I was watching the gob, right? And this bloke he comes up to me and he says, 'Nice day, isn't it?' BUT IT WASN'T! It wasn't a nice day! It was a little bit cloudy. Which makes him very sarcastic! So acting as if nothing could happen right, I got his head, right? I stuck it in me mouth, right, acting dead casual, I closed me teeth AND I BIT HIS HEAD OFF. 'Cause I hate people being sarcastic."

baconbeard: I dread going in to Radio Shack because they always seem to hire extroverted Aspies. They follow you around and make extremely creepy attempts at conversation, which leave me feeling awkward and violated.

Just walk up to the HDMI cables, grab one, and say "do you know what this costs at Amazon"?

They will flee.

I used to work for Radio Shack. So I am really getting a kick out of most of these replies. Some of you guys are very good at making it sound like you know what you are talking about. But trust me.... You don't.

Reminds me of a favorite HoTY submission from a few years back (paraphrased) "Man charged with assault after beating girlfriend with flashlight. Flashlight charged with battery."

The exact quote of the customer: "Hey, didn't you guys used to sell resistors, transistors, soldering supplies and stuff?"

This was after the employee greeted him with "So you want a new cell phone today?"

Santiago told one of the officers he resorted to violence because the customer was being sarcastic.

All I said was "So this is where in the world you are".
