ZeroCorpse: I implore you... Don't reward Fox's shiatty handling of the Marvel characters by paying to see the newest X-Men movie. Please? Pretty please?

The characters belong at Marvel Studios. Stop giving Fox and Sony reasons to keep them.

Both Fantastic 4 movies were some of the worst movies ive ever seen period, but their X-men franchise is four for six, thats pretty good.

And Spider-man 2 is one of the highest rated (RT%) comic book movies ever. There have been some downright TERRIBLE Marvel movies, sure; and while everything Marvel Studios has done themselves has been great, theyre not the only ones who can make a good movie with their characters.

Anderson's Pooper: Somewhere Vern Troyer is sitting alone unemployed wondering how Dinklage stole all his gigs.

He's been busy.

Cyno01: Brainsick: is there really room for mutants in the MCU at this point?

..........,...................::::::::::://::
From what I grok as a comic store employee/geek, look for people in the MCU to start manifesting powers due to an 'Inhuman' gene. Poof! No 'Mutants' needed, no Fox deal needed.

The Inhumans are completely different (although in some ways similar to) from mutants, theyre the result of Kree genetic experiments and they live on the moon.

/although there are rumors of an Inhumans movie down the line in the MCU...

IIRC, Fox has the rights to the Kree (and the Skrulls) through their licensing of the Fantastic Four

serial arseonist: rickythepenguin: I met a very good looking female little person in san francisco friday, we chatted for a bit.  i wonder if she dates much or if she were to have a hangup about dating a reacher (as i understand, little people call regular folks "reachers").  she was really pretty but i guess that physical issue is a hangup for some dudes.  i don't know how i would feel about it.

Now I'm confused

therecksays: Dingleberry Dickwad: Anderson's Pooper: Somewhere Vern Troyer is sitting alone unemployed wondering how Dinklage stole all his gigs.

It's not that difficult really. Dinklage can actually act and be more than "Little person meant as comic relief. "

Troyer was a little person stuntman who got a big break in the Austin Powers movies. Dinklage is a really good actor who happens to be a little person. Watch "The Station Agent" and you'll see how good he is.

The first time I saw Dinklage was in "Find me guilty". He was easily the best actor in the movie. The moment when he went on the pedestal to speek to the jurors, was a great show of talent.

i'm glad he's not being wasted on a role like Puck.  i liked Alpha Flight and all but really?!?  a magic, old dwarf who cartwheels for an attack?

\pass the maple syrup and the labatt 50 before you go.

The Skrulls are one of the properties where theres some wiggle room, similar to how Quicksilver and Scarlett Witch are appearing in both Days of Future Past AND Age of Ultron. Of course Kl'rt specifically is tied to the F4 liscense, (and unrelated i believe Namor is too, but i could be wrong) but he wouldnt make sense without them anyway. I wouldnt expect Skrulls as we know them to appear in the MCU though since there was already an alien invasion, and it involved the Chitauri who are basically the Ultimate Universes version of the Skrulls.

As for the Kree, theyre separate enough from the Skrulls that i wouldnt expect them to be tied to the F4 license in any way, especially since as i mentioned theres talk of an Inhumans movie down the road. I expect well see a Ms Marvel movie eventually too, for the sake of having a female SUPER hero and as a heavy hitter when they start dialing back Iron Man, but her backstory will probably be radically different from the comics. I wouldnt be surprised if Joss directed that one himself too.

I agree, but where are you getting "four for six" from?  I only count five movies.  And no, I'm not doing that "the other two never happened" thing.  X-Men 1-3, First Class, Origins: Wolverine.  What was the 6th?

Were there?  If there was a second one, I missed it.  I only saw the one where they made Deadpool a mute.  The rest of the movie sucked about as badly as that decision.  Was the other one any better?

KhamanV: He's playing Dr. Trask, not Puck.  Next time, read the article.

I did, and while it's a nice role for him it's still no Puck or Alpha Flight cameos. Boourns.
