Very, very odd!  But that'd be an awesome showpiece.

The thing you've got to ask yourself, Richard Parker, is "do I feel lucky?".

I go to the Barrett-Jackson auction every year when they come to Vegas. They ususlly have 400-600 cars for sale, in addition to all of the vendor displays. I highly recommend it for anyone who likes looking at pretty cars.

Nice.

I don't approve of hunting tigers. They are keystone species. Let them alone.

But it sure would come in handy to have a machine gun when competing for parking spaces.

Nobody would sneak into your space with one of those in tow.

Lovely car, too.

Wouldn't you love to have that or even a Dinky toy version?

One of my English teachers had a Dinky toy Tardis and a Red Pillar Post Box, both of which I covet very much. But this car and machine gun combo would be precious.

That's a standard accessory here in Texas.

Why some of the Rolls sport a Cray computerized Firing Solution so you can get a few off while still making 85 mph down the road.

Holy shiat subby.  When you said "machine gun", you weren't kidding.

I dont think I would hunt tigers with it, that is more of a gridlock clearing car. Stupid 270!

This is true.  Sometimes I do want to do that.

Does it also have flamethrowers by the driver's side door?

Are you suggesting that there are times that I don't want to hunt tigers with my Rolls, subby?

"hunting in red Roller must've been difficult, which is why the car originally was painted grey. The color change is one reasons the maharaja's ride isn't expected to fetch more than $1 million. Despite the vintage arsenal, hardcore collectors want their toys all original"

As a car guy and fan of the auctions, I'm baffled at who at any point thought it would be wise to change the original color of this car.  Even if it happened earlier in life, I would change it back prior to presentation for sale.

There's always some idiot who thinks that rare old silver dime they've gotten their hands on will be worth many times the price if they take some steel wool and grind off all that ugly tarnish.

I actually got a closer look at this while it was at Barrett Jackson.  They hadn't finished putting up the rest of the display at the time, so there was quite a lot of speculation as to what the hell was going on with it.  The "elephant gun" on the back is a muzzle-loaded cannon.

I approve of hunting tiger poachers... even ones cleverly disguised as Rajahs.

Was the color changed, or was the car ordered in that color, from the coach builder? Also, if anyone's interested, the car brought $450,000 but didn't hit the reserve. No sale.

Imagine going to a steampunk even in that thing.

Or using it to hunt hipsters...
