Why do they continually put enemas on sale?  It's not exactly an impulse-buy item..

A new one is going in just up the street, to complement the one only a mile south of my house. Maybe Starbucks are just embryonic Walgreens?

It's easy to be more profitable when you have the magical ability to sell a snack-pack of Cheez-Its for $1.79 and a 20oz Coke for $1.89.
They have gas station prices, but you're stuck waiting on a prescription so you buy a snack....and a notepad....and a 2-liter for dinner....FARK!! $30 again.
I blame big Pharma.

How long has she been there? It took my fiancee six years to get a set schedule as a tech.

Walgreens is also one of the largest companies to shift from a company healthcare plan to paying out employees.

Four. And as far as I know, no one there has a set schedule, though I don't know how long any one person has been around. I've been telling her to go get a job at a Publix pharmacy.

But they sell pseudoephedrine-based allergy medicine (the old Actifed formula), so they're golden with me.
