While I blame Schaub for part of the loss, I lay more blame on whoever calls the plays. You're up with 5 minutes left, all you have to do is hold on to the ball and run the clock down so WHY ARE YOU THROWING THE FU*KING BALL?

js34603: another bandwagon Seahawks fan.

That expression is so weird.  All my life, I've been something of a sports hipster: "yeah, I root for this one team, you've probably never heard of them, but they're better than you think."  The idea that they'd have a bandwagon outside Seattle, or be considered overrated in some circles, is completely foreign to me.  Now I have to be all like "I was into them before everyone else was" and "I prefer their earlier stuff," but it's not the same.

whizbangthedirtfarmer: As a Seahawks fan, I was delighted with the win, but it's the first time I've seen the Texans since last year's playoffs.  I know Schaub is not going to set the world on fire (ala Tony Romo), but he is serviceable.  What struck me as bizarre was that the Texans had craptacular game planning.  They never made adjustments, and Seattle did, which was the difference.  After a quick scoring blitz, the Texans never really threatened for the next 40 minutes.  And it seemed like the Texans' D was simply told to rush the passer every play, and they kept missing their assignments, leaving Wilson to run around like a lunatic.

Very bizarre, your coaches.

Yea, that's Kubiak. He calls plays really conservative cause I doubt he has much faith in Schaub. Which is funny cause when they go hurry offense, they do really good. It's just everyone knows that it will always end disastrously cause Schaub is guaranteed to make a stupid decision.

The Texans are so much like 2012 LSU when Jarrett Lee was the QB, they may as well be wearing purple and yellow.

And as for the article, Schaub was hardly an active social network user. So whatever. All the jersey burning and 4th quarter booing is farking pathetic. Everyone is howling for T.J. Yates or FSM forbid Case Keenum. Think it can't get worse. It can get a WWWHHHHOOOOLLLLEEEE LOT worse. Everyone acts like there is a Manning, Brady or Brees just waiting around the corner. Schaub sucks but the question I always ask the loudmouths, who do you realistically replace him with?

Kubiak spent 3 years keeping a playoff team out of the playoffs. Then they finally made the playoffs with a Superbowl caliber team that went nowhere but barely past the Bengals for 2 years. Now they have aging talent and predictable game plans. Texans are the next Jaguars in 4 years.

Any decent franchise would've canned Kubiak 3 years ago.

I love my Texans. Always have and always will, through thick and thin.

BUT Schaub is a problem. He's too damn slow and too damn panicky. Get him out of the pocket and he's a goner. He also seems to be one of those who doesn't bounce back from a defeat and instead sulks more and more.
