I like seeing the Chiefs at 5, but I think you should have to beat someone other than the Jags and the NFC East to earn that spot.

As a Seahawk fan...yeah, that makes sense. You can argue that the 'Hawks have played a much tougher schedule than Denver, and that Denver gave up too many points to bad teams, but the way they've been blowing teams out is hard to argue with. Manning is on another planet right now.

Dumb meta-stats nobody cares about:

Change from Week 1 to this week:
One 18 point drop:Giants
Two14 point jumps: Chiefs & Titans

One team is right back where they started: Cowboys

Change from last week to this week:
One 6 point drop:Rams
One 6 point jump: Lions

Six teams did not change rank

Number of times rankings have changed:
1 team has changed once: Jaguars
16 teams have changed 4 times (max). Down from 20 teams last week who had moved the maximum number of times

Difference between high rank & low rank:
Lowest fluctuation:Seahawks with 1
Highest fluctuation:Giants with 18
Average fluctuation is 9.25

Most spots traveled:
Eagles with 22

Teams hitting their highest rank this week:10 teams
Teams hitting their lowest rank this week:8 teams

Three teams have held the #1 spot: Seahawks, 49ers, & Broncos

I have no problem with the Broncos over the Seahawks for the top spot, but that whole "Matt Schaub gave them a gift" notion is pretty damn stupid.  Matt Schaub threw a bad pass because he was under pressure and the coverage was perfect all over the field.  I'm not saying there was no luck involved whatsoever, but the Seahawks deserve at least some credit for that play.

Especially since the Seahawks had practiced defending that exact play because they knew the Texans like to go out to the flats on 3rd & short(ish). And Sherman gave a look like he was backing off the TE to bait Schaub into the throw before jumping the route.

Welcome back, one and all, to the trivia game where the host is totally checked out, the players are chomping at the bit for a gorram Power Rankings greenlight, the GRAF arrived before the other installments, and the New York Giants are hilariously terrible.

We've got 12 questions this week covering 4 categories - QBs, RBs, WINLESS TEAMS LOL, and Stadia..ums..whatever. 3 categories are a little easy and one is pretty farking hard to strap your big boy pants (or big girls pants) on and let's get this over with. Remember to stick around to the end for your official answer sheet so you can play along and show us your wrong answers in the thread.

On a personal note, I will not be doing trivia next week. I'll be in enemy territory (New York) getting hitched, so I won't have time to shoddily toss together a dozen questions that even I'm not certain about the answers to. Wish me luck. Now good luck to you!

QBs:

1. Which QB has taken the most sacks so far this season thanks to a steady diet of sacks every week this season?

2. Which QB attempted the most passes in week 4? Hint: he lost.

3. Which QB has thrown the most complete passes of 20 yards or more?

RBs:

1. Which RB has run for the most yards so far this season?

2. More than one player has 4 20+ yard rushes - but is it 2, 3, or 4 players?

3. What player has rushed the most times per game (on average) this season?

WINLESS TEAMS LOL

1. Of the 0-4 teams, who has allowed the least points?

2. Of the 0-4 teams, who has scored the most points?

3. Of the 0-4 teams, who has passed for the most yards?

Stadia...ums.. whatever.

1, 2, and 3.
Which stadiums are these?

i291.photobucket.com

Answer sheet:

Qbs:
1. Most sacks -
2. Most attempted passes week 4 -
3. Most 20+ yard passes -

Rbs:
1. Most rushing yards -
2. How many players with 4 20+ rushing plays -
3. Most rushing attempts per game -

Winless:
1. Allowed least points -
2. Scored most points -
3. Most passing yards -

Stadia,um,s:
1.
2.
3.

It was a stupid play call and a ball that should have never been thrown.  Schaub and the coach blew the entire game right there.  Even if he gets sacked, they don't automatically give up 7 points.  The Texans gave them the game and even as a Seahawks fan you have to admit that.

Stupid Schaub.

$6.8mil this season / 16 gamechecks = $425k per game = $85k per INT on Sunday

I was on travel this weekend so the only action i got to see was the last 5 minutes of Pats/Falcs, which was pretty exciting.  and i saw a little of last night's game but i checked out early as i was tired.  good to see the Redbirds at a rather unexpected 2-2.

the next four:

CARO (win)
@ SFO (win)
SEA (win)
ATL (win)

6-2 at the halfway point.  now scratch that on a piece of wood and hang it round ya damn neck, sonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.

Nope its flacco he had 5 picks, which beats the other qbs with 4 turn overs, including Tannehill trying to give it his all last night.

The Jaguars exist?

Really... as bad as you think the Giants are (and they are)... the Jaguars are probably at least 2 standard deviations worse.

For example.... the Rams are a 12 point favorite this week against the Jags... and the Rams are pretty horrible in their own right.

Yep.  Seahawks fan, too.  Denver has played a pretty creampuff schedule to this point, but while they've played those games, they've completely steamrolled.  They deserve #1, but a true test will be when Denver hits the tough part of its schedule.  Seattle is currently doing that, and the schedule will lighten in the next few weeks.  If they beat the Colts, they go home to face the Titans without Locker (who ever thought that would be a disadvantage for the Titans), and have a good chance of going 8-0, and possibly 9-0.  Even a loss to the Colts won't hurt too much.  I think they need one more away game to clinch a high seed, and at least two to get homefield.  The Broncs hit the hard part of their schedule against the Chargers in three weeks.

i ordinarily don't do the trivia but:

Soldier Field (90% certain)
Miami (just a guess but i feel good about it)
Donks?it is almost easier to guess who it isn't, as so many teams have "ringed" stadiums and very few are open.  i've never been to Invesco but I believe the south half is open.

We could discuss that extremely stupid suplexing penalty in OT, though as a way the Texans actually just handed the game to the Seahawks. Ushered them right on into FG range with under 4 minutes to play.

I bruised my hips giving Schaub and the Texans the "suck it" sign through my TV on that play.

Actually, it was stupid on the drive before that to go with nothing but passes and kill no time, especially when the Seahawks hadn't stopped the run all day. Thanks to your stupid coach and QB for the win in a game we played like complete and utter sh*t in!

The Dolphins are STILL too damn high!  But thanks for the vote of confidence anyway, ESPN.

Were the Power Rankings calculated before last night's game?  I'm very excited about how good they look this year, but there are some glaring deficiencies that the Saints threw into relief.

ha, i couldn't resist.  yeah, SFO will be a tough one to say the least, so I have to say SFO probably wins that one.  ATL is different though.  ATL has never played well here from memory and although they are a dome team, this ain't their dome and i don't fear them at all.  yeah, 2-2 on that stretch is far more realistic.
