(Sportige)   According to history and statistics, the San Diego Chargers, Denver Broncos and New England Patriots should all make the Super Bowl this season. Wait, that can't be, right?   (sportige.com ) divider line

This is legit. My dad's a judge and he told me that the AFC only being able to send one team to the Super Bowl is in the US Constitution, which was suspended when Congress shut the country down. Now anyone can go to the Super Bowl.

Thanks, Belichick, for driving Wes Welker away to be picked up by the Broncos.

Hm, I wonder what kind of analysis pegs the Chargers as a Super Bowl team...

The Chargers, who are 2-2 so far this season, rely on the recent trend of Super Bowl winners all playing against the Philadelphia Eagles on the Eagles' home opener for the last four seasons.

Oh FFS.  I'll stop wasting my time on this... now.

I like that Super Bowl logo.

Too bad we won't actually use it and will instead use the stainless-steel factory generic again because we apparently can't even have THAT bit of fun.

I blame Rex Ryan.

If Rex isn't making foot fetish videos then Welker isn't making foot fetish jokes and Belichick isn't sitting him in the playoff loss that, I'm guessing, led to their hard feelings

Asshole made me sit just for being funny, I was so subtle he could have ignored it!

Asshole made me sit him by flagrantly ignoring team instructions! and when we needed that SOB!

San Diego will never play in a Super Bowl. Ever.

it sucks ass.  now, i kinda like how simple it is -- the stars make it pop -- but the snowflake is gay.  and it is asymmetrical so  you don't know what to focus on.  and what if it doesn't snow?  then, even if it does (which it probably will, of course) it looks stupid next to the simple block script letters.  it makes the letters look slow and dumb, but then you can't have all snowflake letters because then it looks like Martha Stewart designed it.  either way, it clashes and is a hot mess, sister.  and then, why the empire state building?  why not the new tower?  or, use the statue of liberty crown in some way.  the ESB is like, 70 years old and is architectually boring.  the logo is at once old school classic and clean lines, but drab in the lack of color.  no white?  just dark blue, lighter blue, and red?  no white?  no silver to make it pop?  and again, it is unbalanced.  a snowflake here, a building there with stars, unbalanced, drab-ish colors, only a two color scheme.....whomever designed this logo should have their fingers broken so they can never create "art" again.

and 1995 just confirmed that San Diego did not play in that game. They did appear to be on the field at various times though.
Only time I wanted to see Pittsburgh in the superbowl. They would've lost too, but at least the game wouldn't have been a laugher at the 90 second mark.

Well, they will all likely make the playoffs...

Trend-wise, at least one team from the week one ranking's 1-10 tier, one 11-19 tier, and one 20-32 tier team makes it to the conference championships... With one 1-10 or 20-32 ranked team thrown in to make it 4 teams (rarely a 2nd 11-19 team)

Whichever teams those are? Who knows, for whatever reason #2, #6, #18, and #24 or #32 are the most likely teams trend-wise in the last 5 years...
