basemetal: Meh, Real WinosTM drink straight from the Boons Farm bottle.
yanoosh: I've noticed that wine bottles are only holding 2 glasses of wine nowadays
Dow Jones and the Temple of Doom: What sucks about wine is it's too sweet, you end up with a stomach ache before you drink enough to get shiatfaced.
HairBolus: Beer should always be drunk from a glass. I find that large Smuckers peanut butter jars (26 oz) provide a good drinking vessel. They provide plenty of headroom for 12 or 16 oz beers and with care you can fit a 22 oz bottle of beer in.[i.walmartimages.com image 500x500]These jars come with lids to keep the bugs out. They will also hold a full bottle of wine or a 5th of liquor.
Bourbonman: rnatalie: Like someone limits themselves to the contents of whatever glass they are using. We I drink until the bottle is gone (and sometimes open another)I drink alone, yeah, with nobody else. You know when I drink alone, I prefer to be by myself..../this post will hold a full bottle of slashies//slashies///more slashies
Coastalgrl: My wine consumption has increased dramatically with the decrease in distance to relatives and increase in BS at work. And no, "marketing researchers" are NOT scientists.
DerAppie: This has been known for years upon years. If they looked at existing literature they'd have found that people suck at judging contents of various containers. The wide, low container will be judged to contain less than the high yet narrow container (within certain parameters).
