Some movies about teenage witches?

But not Teen Witch. Then the swimmers would have been afflicted by clumsy pop and lock dancing and poorly dubbed rapping.

Was the one where they made a man doll out of wax? Witches of Eastwick?

Nice reference subby.   My sister almost burned down our house because of that movie.  Teenage girls and love spells are a dangerous mix.

Bravo subby, just in time for October.

"This is the second time the Berkeley High School pool has been closed for similar problems with chemical imbalance."

So throw in some Zoloft. It worked for me.

I LOL'd a bit but am saddened at the lack of photo reminders of the 4 chicks from the movie.........

How do we know they aren't shaving themselves to be more competitive?  And if it is the pool causing this, wouldn't it just save them the cost and time of shaving?

He also said that going forward, chemical readings of the pool would be taken three times daily.

When I was a lifeguard, we had to do it every hour - and they still do it hourly @ my local pool. Hear thunder? Closed for 1/2 hour. Kid poops in the pool? Closed all day.

We don't swim much. Too many kids getting dropped off at the pool.

You're thinking of speed swimmers, not water polo players.

I'm no expert but 3 times daily does seem excessive, maybe just once a day when they open would be enough? How much can the pH change from the previous day?

It can change within minutes, if something goes hinky. You want to catch it before people start complaining about burning eyes, etc. Our routine was 20 minutes in the chair, 20 minutes in the office, 20 minutes on the deck (when you'd check the pH).

The decision was made after parents delivered a letter to the school's principle the day before

Looks like a FoxNews writer needs to be sent to the principle's office.

Oh really? Guess it pays to be vigilant then and check often.

Did anybody else notice - apparently no one is going to sue!
FTFA:
Some parents of children on the water polo team were upset with the school administration for negligence, though they didn't want to make their complaints into a larger issue.
"We didn't want the pool closed. We don't want to make a political issue out of it. We want a safe and healthy environment for our children," one parent, who wished to remain anonymous, told Berkeleyside.

Don't the parents know how to be Americans?
