This season makes no sense so far, and a Dolphins win would fit right into that pattern.

This is an ancient pic, but I was perusing the old Colts-Saints SB thread, and had to dig this one back up:

Week 4 is the real week in the NFL. Saints take this.

Let's be honest, this season is pretty much for the Broncos at this point.    You might as well stop watching now.

Go Rangers.

And Colts.

Let's wait until they play a defense before we crown them.

I don't know... It seems just recently a team went 2-2 in the preseason, and began the regular season by demolishing everyone. Yes, now I remember. 2007. That was beautiful, unless you were a Patriot fan.

Gonna have to focus on #163 tonight.  Boomstick is back in the lineup. There's still hope.

I'll agree that the AFC is shiat. Now let's talk about the NFC.

Thus far the AFC has been making the NFC look  terrible,at least by the numbers.     Sports writers have been falling all over themselves to report on it (e.g.  http://www.sfgate.com/sports/article/AFC-has-the-edge-over-NFC-so-far - in-2013-4853562.php ).

You're all wrong. The Houston Oilers and Bum Phillips are going to the Super Bowl. No team today would survive "The House of Pain".

One need look no further than the NFC East to understand how much better the AFC is right now. There was only 5 teams in the NFC with winning records on Sunday.

For tonight's game, I've whipped up a concoction of paint thinner and Clean Shower (TM) brand bathroom cleaner. I don't really know how to describe the taste, except to say that if you've ever had UV Vodka and lemonade, it tastes absolutely nothing like that.

Win the game.

You'd think the Brees/Culpepper thing "ties the two franchises together" better than "the Dolphins won all their games in one season and the Saints came close to losing all theirs in other seasons," Berman.

Just announced:

Due to the Oakland A's Saturday night playoff game and the time needed to convert the A's and Raiders stadium, the Chargers-Raiders game this Sunday has been moved from 1:25 PT to 8:35 PT on NFL Network. The Broncos-Cowboys game will be the only late game on CBS Sunday. Link

Well, since I need Jimmy Graham to get at least 12 points tonight, I'm sure this means that the Saints will suck it up.

Even without Wake, I still like the Under 48.5

Saints D will look pretty good tonight.

Hrm.

Wake and Misi are both dinged up.

In New Orleans.

....

Gotta stick with the Breesus. Sorry.

I need Ryan Tannehill to beat the combination of Brees and Jimmy Graham tonight by about 15 points to win my fantasy matchup this week.

I'm feeling pretty confident that's what will happen tonight.

2013-09-30 07:47:31 PM
12And in the fourth week Joe went into the third night behind by eight and ten fantasy scheckels.
13His opponent had not vanquished him, but he doth gnash his teeth and wipe his brow with worry
14And Lo he journeyed unto the house of mika and rob and asked for guidance.
15They spoke unto him with only these words, "Breesus Saves"
16"But what of the fleet of foot one they call Wallace of the Fishes?"
17 "Fret not and break bread with us. Breesus Saves and Tannehill shall falter."
18 And his heart was lightened.

No.

/it's the NFL...teams people think are great right now (like say the Dolphins if they win tonight) will suck by the end of the year
//just like every year and yet every year someone is declaring a Super Bowl champion in 4 games into the season
