blacksharpiemarker: Fade2black: No different than black friday or people waiting for next gen systems (like I will do)...not because I want one, but because I can ebay a $500 system for 2k because people are desperate to appease their crotchfruit.

There is a difference, I suppose.  Most people don't have to look down their nose and feel superior like you do.  Some of just like (and can afford) our new toys.  Can be a hater all you want.

That's pretty funny.  I went with an iphone because to me, it was idiot-proof...and at the time, honestly...ATT had better coverage at my house and they had the exclusive for the first 2 generations.  And since it's a comfort factor at this point, I keep it...and upgrade when I can.  I don't hang out in front of the store.  I have nothing against Android, nothing at all.  Thankfully I'm not sad or pathetic enough to think arguing over what phone I have is grounds to feel morally superior to someone else.  Your life must really suck.

These morons:

Man, I gotta give it to Jobs for one thing... he found a way to milk the morons so effectively of their hard-earned cash that they'd go as far as to defend him when you try and show them the sadness of their ways.

To be fair, upgrading the CPU and making software tweaks is not innovative. I expect a tech company to do those things.

I'll ask you what I ask others when the topic of Apple and Samsung's latest underwhelming phone offerings comes up:  What else are you expecting them to do with these devices?

The screens are as good as they're going to get.
LTE speeds are faster than many people's home internet connections.
The cameras have all but killed off point and shoots

So what's left?  What more do you want them to do?  We should no longer be looking at each new generation of device as revolutionary, but rather the latest model available to you if you happen to need a new phone right now.  Kind of like cars (Telsa aside).

I want audio quality in a phone call.

+1 - Screw the features, make the call sound good.

I want it to blow me, OK?
Is it too much to ask to get a damn blow job from my 'smart' phone?
