I don't like them. A good artist can achieve so much more with oil paints (in my opinion). I also thought the inclusion of names on the "paintings" was annoying at best.

Y'know, we have these things called hi-def photos that actually show the planets in question without the need for crappy 'art'.

And why is he using the Greek god names? They're supposed to be Roman.

I thought all of them were of Uranus, as they were all crappy.

Something that irks me. So the painter was an iconoclast who rejected the Roman gods naming convention and went with Greek names, right? Then WHY did he still name Mars...well, Mars, instead of Ares?

Bonestell for the win.

This other guy is a shiatty painter.

Make a scale painting of the Sol system.  Small white circle, couple of tiny dots, fill the rest black, and done!

Much agreed on the quality. I kind of enjoyed the idea of seeing them named after the Greek equivalents, and was more bothered by Mars not being Ares. If you are going to go for subversion of theme, then commit dammit! The poor quality of the paintings was much more disruptive than the names though.
