Keep your friends close but keep your enemies closer.

best-selling author of "Dirty Wars."

I tried reading that but couldn't get very far. Scahill's chronology jumps around so much I found myself reading back again and again trying to figure out the time period he was talking about. Call me lazy but that's more work than I want to do when reading a book.

Well, there is a hell of a lot of BS about conspiracies floating around.  I don't believe any of it.  But when there is something more substantial and coming from a source other than infowars, then I start thinking it may be real.

Dude, relax. Diet and sit-ups. Perhaps a good waxing. You'll be fine. Trust me.

The NSA doesn't assassinate people, the CIA does.  The NSA just helps find the targets.  Not really news.

Governments have been assassinating political enemies since forever.

Find that the NSA is assassinating random citizens for completely bizarre reasons? Then you'll get a response.

/until then...

It's not a surprise anymore. But also....

Former South Korean President Roh Mu-hyeon. He was most likely assassinated by agents working for the South Korea's National Intelligence Service.

Nobody gives a shiat about this anymore and people have fewer shiats to give now that they know that people like Assange, Manning, Snowden and Greenwald are just whoring themselves out for attention and not for any real cause.

What channel is this program on?

I don't have cable.

Will all seasons be available on NetFlix and is "Assassination:NSA" just a working title?

TV Guide shows me nothing listed

SweetHomeNowhere: Roh Mu-hyeon

Or more likely, he was embroiled in a bribery scandal and committed suicide.

So, with the impending shutdown, are the NSA assassins considered "essential personnel", or are they going to be furloughed as well?

2013-09-30 12:11:03 AM
...oh, and are the NSA assassins exempt from Obamacare?

2013-09-30 12:11:59 AM
Do they mean that NSA intelligence is used for targeting in drone strikes?  Because we already know that

There is more than one person on the Internet. Not everyone who disagrees with you does so for the same reason.

If the NSA is involved in US assassinations, it's likely only in a support and logistics role.

CIA does all the cool shiat. NSA are the IT department of the US intelligence community.

Yawn.  So far as I know, the only innocent citizens of the U.S. who have been killed by authorities, for decades, with no little impunity:   http://www.drugwarrant.com/articles/drug-war-victim/
Wake me up when the NSA can't ferret out the right address...

I wish they would just release all the info at once instead of in small bits. It's becoming information fatigue and this story seems to be dragging on because they have to do editing on the papers they have.

FTA: "Glenn and I are working on a project right now that has at its center how the National Security Agency plays a significant, central role on the U.S. assassination program,"

It's probably more like the NSA gives information the CIA so they can target people, including citizens, for drone strikes.

yeah, they just call up their buddies at the CIA and share information with them like they're not trapped in a bureaucracy trying to maintain its exorbitant budget.  Then they all ride off into the sunset on the backs of unicorns.

Assassinations should be privatized for efficiency.
