Well I wiffed on Eli last week (but then almost everyone did).  This week if you have any Broncos or Eagle starters get them in your lineup.

The only time I wouldn't play any Broncos or Eagles* is on their respective bye weeks, and even then it's close.

Foster vs. Moreno vs Jacquizz Rogers?

My other RB slot was Frank Gore, which did well in the Thursday game (also have Boldin), which gives me some cushion on how my other RB performs, but I am split on who to start in my RB1 slot.  I have Arian Foster, Knowshon Moreno and Jacquizz Rogers
'
Foster historically is quality, but he is playing Seattle and has been splitting runs with Tate and putting up meager numbers lately.

Knowshon is the starting back for Denver, but he always loses at rock-paper-scizzors-lizard-spock.

I like jacquizz as a scat back for atlanta, but they are playing NE and snelling seems to be the goalline back.

Hyjamon: Jacquizz Rogers?

Not him, Atlanta will have a horrible game.

Think you have to go Foster.  Moreno is the starter of the 3 headed Bronco Cerberus .  If it was in Seattle maybe I'd think about sitting Foster but it's hard.  Rodgers may have a good game but you can't start him over Foster.

Shouldn't have put 3 headed there it's implied.  My fault for getting cute.

Does anyone have any scoop on Ray Rice?  Sounds like he's still a gametime decision.  God help me, my only alternative is David Wilson.

Doctor Funkenstein: Does anyone have any scoop on Ray Rice?  Sounds like he's still a gametime decision.  God help me, my only alternative is David Wilson.

All I can say is if he goes use him.  If not Wilson and pray.  (He did look better last week even with the inability for the OL to block)

Any word on Ray Rice or Vincent Jackson at TB going today?

We should know for sure in the next hour or so, but based on comments Harbaugh has made over the last week plus Rice's practice participation, I'd be very surprised if he doesn't start.  But I'd also be very surprised if Pierce doesn't get more touches than normal to ease Rice's workload.

But yeah, Rice at 15-20 touches is probably a far better option than Wilson.

Thanks.  Yeah, I think I'm boned here either way.  Even if Rice does play, it sounds like he has a bit of a lingering issue with that hip.  And then there's Wilson...yeah....

Bilal Powell vs TEN or Reggie Bush vs CHI. I feel like Bush has more potential for a big game, but I have a lot more faith in Chicago's D than the Titans.

Also, what about DEN DEF vs PHI or KC's DEF vs NYG?

2013-09-29 10:21:59 AM
Also what's the official word on Terrelle Pryor? Is he good to go?

Seattle can be run against (95.0 yards allowed/game, 2 rushing TDs against them this season).  Tate's participation is bothersome, but I wouldn't sit Foster for either of your other options.

Bush.   The Titan D has been playing real well and Powell is nothing special.
As a Giant fan it hurts but you have to go the Chefs D.

That's closer than it first appeared, but I go with Bush if for no other reason than that I'd hate myself more for leaving his 20 points on the bench vs. missing a strong Powell performance.

nathanjr: Also, what about DEN DEF vs PHI or KC's DEF vs NYG?

KC, easily.

Out, Flynn will start.

The San Fran Chronicle says Pryor, ESPN (Schefter) says Flynn.  At this point I'm leaning toward ESPN's report, simply because it's more recent.

Got it, thanks. I'll check on my other teams and be back with more questions I'm sure.

Ray Rice (Questionable) @ Buf
Joique Bell vs. Chi
Eddi Royal vs. Dal

Pick 2.

I'm leaning Bell and Royal, because I'm risk-averse.

Well that's safe.  I still think if Rice goes he should be in your lineup.  If that's the case I guess you should go Bell over Royal.

2013-09-29 10:52:26 AM
Two RB slots:  Reggie Bush, Sproles, Ridley, and Ahmad Bradshaw.  I'm thinking Bush & Sproles (Ridley just hasn't been cutting the mustard lately)

2013-09-29 10:52:42 AM
Ray Rice expected to play (9:56 a.m. ET): ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that RB Ray Rice (hip, questionable) is expected to play for the Baltimore Ravens, "unless he suffers a setback to his hip injury in pre-game warmups." Rice's matchup at Buffalo is extremely favorable, and could vault him into the top 10 at his position if we knew he was 100 percent plus getting almost all the carries. Unfortunately, neither is entirely clear, and it's possible that RB Bernard Pierce will take on a sizable role as Rice's backup.

2013-09-29 10:53:37 AM
Oh snuff, I just realized Bradshaw is out this week for a neck injury.  I guess that leaves Bush, Sproles, and Ridley

Go Bush, Sproles.  You're spot on with Ridley and Bradshaw is out (neck).

2013-09-29 10:55:53 AM
WR/TE Flex position, pick one:

Emmanual Sanders vs. Min
Andre Johnson vs. Sea (he's had two injuries in two weeks and didn't finish either game)
Leonard Hankerson vs. Oak (I'm starting Garcon as WR2)
Kyle Rudolph vs. Pit
Vincent Brown vs. Dal

Andre Johnson as long as he goes (he should)
Emmanuel Sanders if he doesn't

Okay, since the two guys I  thoughtwere supposed to be my starting WR's by now are both out today, I'm left asking Emmanuel Sanders or Eddie Royal?  The best available on the waiver wire (after 2 probables, a bye, an already-played, and a Patriot rookie) is Doug Baldwin, Seattle's 3rd or 4th WR.  Santana Moss is also available, but I still don't trust that offense.

Lor M. Ipsum: Emmanual Sanders vs. Min

Assuming your lineup card doesn't require proper spelling, this is your guy. ;)

/Do not like Johnson because of injury, matchup; do not trust Hankerson at this point; Rudolph is barely a borderline TE starter let alone flex play, and Vincent Brown is a guy with 27 career catches (8 this season).

It does leave me to ask, what the fark is it about Patriot backs that they all seem to fade in their second seasons??  I mean, there's plenty of excuses right now for anyone in that offense, but still....

I think Royal will get another TD catch against a Cowboy's defense that struggles in the red zone vs. the pass, but I'm confident that Sanders will have a solid day against a Vikings defense that struggles at everything.

See, I kind of feel the way you feel about Royal with both of them.  I know Em's the 2nd target (3rd if you count Heath), but I just don't like the Steeler offense right now.

Sproles, why is this even a question?  I guess you could get a "lucky" injury to Richardson.  If I had to choose between losing a pinky and starting Donald Brown I'd need to start going by Nine Fingers.

Ridley

Royal
Stevie Johnson

OK fellas, help a lady out.

right now I've got Bilal Powell  (NYJ) and Bernard Pierce (BAL) in as RBs with Jason Snelling (ATL) in my flex.

Options:
Ray Rice (BAL)
Darren Sproles (NO)
Torrey Smith (WR, flex option) (BAL)
Tony Gonzalez (TE, flex option) (ATL)

Rice has been out and I was thinking that Pierce is going to primarily carry the RB load. I'm not sure I want to put both of them in because they're the same team.

Gonzalez has been doing poorly this year. I benched him in favor of Scott Chandler (BUF) for TE.

Ridley has been pretty bad, and I don't like RBs that split their workload as often as the Broncos, RBs, but I don't think Montee Ball is going to be touching the ball anymore. That said, I'm still thinking Royal and Johnson.

If it's me...Moreno & Royal, but I'm not excited about either one.  The Pats need to get back to building & protecting big leads (or give up on the "big" part) before Ridley starts seeing success, and with Gronk & Amendola still out I don't see that happening.  The Ravens have one shutdown corner & a bunch of other guys who have no business starting in this league, and that shutdown guy (Lardarius Webb) will be spending a lot of time in Johnson's hip pocket this afternoon.

Richardson has now had a full week to learn the Colts' offense, which can be directly translated into the Colts have had a whole week to remove everything that doesn't involve Richardson running over people from their playbook.

2013-09-29 11:21:31 AM
Okay, one more:

Hakeem Nicks @ KC or
Golden Tate @ Hou

I know Tate hasn't been seeing the ball much, but Nicks put up a big ol' goose egg last week, and they're playing what might be the #1 D this week.

2013-09-29 11:21:58 AM
Okay, gods of fantasy fark, here's my lineup, in a ppr:

QB: RGIII (Cam Newton's on bye)
RB: Trent Richardson
RB: Doug Martin
WR: Andre Johnson (got Deandre Hopkins ready to go if I have to)
WR: Dez Bryant
FLEX: Josh Gordon
TE: Martellus Bennett
K: Blair Walsh
DEF: Indy.

My question: I'm projected to lose by 2 points this week.  Should I pick Heath Miller up and plug him in over Bennett?  I plan on getting Mller and stashing him anyway, but should I play him this week?  The Vikings SUCK against tight ends...
