Yakk: Single guy... tame msg's. Sure to be an outrage to someone.

This has been news around here for a week or so. I don't get it.  Booker's Twitter makes the news a few times a year (he's really good at using it, and I like following his feed) but this isn't newsworthy.  Him actually feeding people during the storm last year was newsworthy.  saying he loves someone who is supporting him, big deal.

I do kind of wish people would point out that being a stripper is not illegal nor is it even a big deal, and that despite the fact that she's a stripper, she's still entitled to support politicians and even be a bit of a geek about getting a response from a politician or celebrity on Twitter.  I was actually wondering why she made it public, but then I thought about how many people keep things like that/share them because it means something to them.

To sum: no story here, but I hope like hell he's careful because I'd really like to see him in Senate and eventually the Presidency and there will be no lack of searching for scandals about him on the way to the top. I mean, he may even eat arugula while talking to these strippers, for the love of God.

Looks like he is a regular dude who knows he is under a microscop. I'd have said and done way worse to get to her naughty bits.

Single guy casually flirts with stripper from a club that caters to his dietary preference.

Obviously this is a MAJOR scandal that will rock NJ politics to it's core.

This only made me like him more. It's no Carlos Danger, that's for sure.

Part of me wonders if they're just pissed off this can be used to somewhat diffuse the "gay scandal" around him. I mean, my GOD, what is a 44-year-old man doing, having the nerve to be single? He MUST be gay. He doesn't even act offended when people say he may be!

So no leather shoes for the ladies? What do they wear, crocs? Pleather shoes?

Maybe people from New Jersey will vote for the tea party guy instead because of this.  Yeah, I'll bet they will do that.

Generally when talking a cucumber with a stripper the answer is that will cost you an extra $100

vegan strip club? why is that even a thing? Who the hell eats at a strip club. ?

Few strippers wear actual leather at work, at least not ones who've done it longer than a week. It's expensive, it's high maintenance, and it absorbs sweat way way too much. Usually their footwear is some plastic or vinyl stuff.

Is Booker a redneck?  Just asking.

2013-09-29 11:42:37 PM
Cory Booker, the failed mayor of a failed city with decades of failed liberal policies. Instead of talking about the issues, lets talk about this stripper he texts with.

I would not be surprised if Booker leaked the messages himself or encouraged her to do it.

He was getting slammed here for his corruption scandal, had to take that off the front page somehow.......

Lonegan has been closing the gap and has a good chance of winning. We need a conservative like him from New Jersey, to represent my state in DC. Not Cory Booker who wants to represent Hollywood. As an legally blind individual, Steve Lonegan has a better vision for NJ and DC......

Lonegan is a Koch sucker. So no. I'm not the biggest fan of Booker, but I'll take him over a Koch sucker any day.

Instead of sitting around and polluting your head with conspiracy theories. Learn about the issues and what our state has been facing with 4 decades of Democratic Party rule. Ask yourself what has Cory Booker done for Newark? Is the law firm scandal a stepping stone to larger scandals like what Menendez has been pulling for a decades? Why has he spent and wasted time on late night TV, messes around with twitter, in Hollywood and any where else he can get 'free face time' and let his mayoral duties slide? These are serious problems with Cory Booker, and none of them are 'conspiracy theories'.

Where the fark did I say anything about conspiracy theories? Holy shiat dude. All I said is Lonegan has taken money from the Koch brothers, and things funded by the Koch brothers tend to be things I don't particularly like.

Is Booker a bit of an attention whore? Sure, I can give you that. However, since you can't seem to acknowledge that Booker did at least some good for Newark, you snuck in a Menendez reference(awesome weasel-word sentence btw), AND you're complaining about his media presence(OMG HE HAS TWITTER! THE WORLD IS ENDING!), I'ma have to peg you for a Koch sucker too.

Sounds like you have an fascination with Kock

What good did Cory do for Newark? Rescuing a couple dogs does not deserve anyone a US Senate seat.

He can not even follow his own laws that he enacted. Like his abandoned Newark home that he should have registered as an abandoned property but he failed to do so. Hey, he is the mayor, why should he have to follow some dumb law? right? Maybe we need less jerks like that in DC.

The lowest murder rate since 1959? All around lower crime rate?

Come on dude. You keep missing the point I'm making. I'm not saying Booker's awesome. I'm saying if you can't admit he at least did some good for the city, you're a partisan hack.
