List (and thread) FAIL! Robert Duvall as Boo Radley in "To Kill A Mockingbird". One scene. No dialogue. And he comes damn close to stealing the movie from Gregory Peck's masterpiece of acting that is Atticus Finch.

Ben Vereen in "All That Jazz" doesn't qualify because he's shown on a TV screen in the background a couple of times.  Damn shame.  He was amazing in that.

Skyrmion: I have to nominate Tom Cruise in Tropic Thunder.

I never got the love of this character. Over the top, ham-fisted portrayal.
But, I feel this way with most, if not all of Tom's work.
