So two people who are sexually confused and unable to face the truth of who they are might be drawn to each other. Not a shocker.

Not giving the Daily Fail a click, but I'm sure that they're spinning this as "This is how the homos destroy marriage!"

did the article include what religion that they were raised in?
and how guilty they felt about their sexuality??

We're not gay but my girlfriend and I both agree that we are absolutely terrible in bed. Luckily we found each other.

Intercourse on the Internet 2013 is pretty much groups of poo flinging monkeys that have worked hard to make it impossible to ask serious questions without being derided as bigots of various sorts. I'm certain that strategy works great to inform and change minds.

Intercourse the Internet!

Love is love, regardless of gender. The sooner we realize that, the better off we'll all be.

They're lucky to have each other.

You're an ignorant bigot.  There, I have labeled you such, and you didn't even ask the question.  Might as well ask it now.

Also, isn't the man technically 'straight' if he was having sex identity issues, and switched from being a man to a woman?

The first clue should have been both parties were happy with sex once a year.

Dumbass is a good tag to me.  You're a dumbass if you think getting married and having a kid is going to keep you from being gay.  Just makes you a selfish, dishonest person when you can't even be honest with yourself. I wonder how the kid is doing with all this.

Agreed. It kills me how much money Farkers throw at this publication every day. Would you link to the Westboro Baptist Church for a news story? Then why are you throwing pageviews at these motherfarkers several times a day?!

So a woman interested in women had an intimate relationship with a man that wanted to be a woman.  That... actually makes sense in a strange way.

So, why is this news?  Its not like this is surprising or unusual.   Good for them.  The journalist needs to find something else to write about.

Hmm, I was thinking the SAPPY tag would be more appropriate, but I had to remind myself that this is Fark.

Good on them though to be able to finally come out to each other and I admire the fact that they are brave enough to come out to everyone else.

Cythraul: Also, isn't the man technically 'straight' if he was having sex identity issues, and switched from being a man to a woman?

Yes, a transperson would most appropriately be called the orientation that aligns with their new sex.  This also tends to display in that, even before transition, gay/lesbian trans people tend to be interested/romantically involved with gays/bisexuals in hetero-relationships, and straight trans people are typically attracted to straight people.

Also, foul on the article's "I've been thinking about dating women" = GAYGAYGAY!  I don't want to CNN-speculate, but this sounds like a rather one-sided affair. In fact bisexual/-curious women seem to have a real thing for transwomen....And at her age and only one year? Pretty impressive (and lucky) progress.

Then again the whole article lives the trope that trans=gay. I'm amazed they even used female pronouns.

You must have missed the part where he (now she) is attracted to MEN.  And the couple in question are now "living separately."  Too bad for the wife, sounds like she might be happy with her female husband.

So, maybe technically straight now that she's a she?

My oldest sister was married for 24 years with four kids and a granddaughter when my brother-in-law decided he could no longer live as a man and started gender reassignment surgery. My sister wasn't oppose to his needs, as he was clear at how much pain he suffered living as a man, but she was far from lesbian and was set to divorce him/her. Well after three years, he is living as a she (though I don't thing she's had the surgery yet), and my sister is still with her. My sister has come to accept she still love him/her for the person he/she is and not necessarily his/her gender.

I'm just disappointed in my other siblings, who seem to have a problem with the situation. It's really not their business, and they themselves have had less then desirable spouses, many of whom I prefer the company of my brother turn sister-in-law over.

Foster children and no sex. Whatever keeps them from violating some ridiculous notion of what Jesus stood for.

Dani is still technically a man... just a man who has maybe had surgery and takes drugs...

... so he's still gay... just looks slightly like a woman.

Nice they can keep their relationship going and not have hard feelings.

They should have BOTH had sex changes... then they could be sexually compatible again.

(How does one discover they're gay 20 years AFTER marriage? You either get turned on by men, women, goats, or a combo of the above... how can it take 20 years to figure out?)
