It's a difficult game to predict. Don't know how I would have chosen. Both teams have the ability to score, both tend to have very stingy defenses. Tottenham a bit bigger and stronger, Chelsea a bit more creative and tricky.

I'd have put 0-0. Because Jose.

Same. But I naively expect there to be 2 goals

Pretty good article about some of Chelsea's current struggles:  Put Jose Mourinho in a scrap-metal yard, and he will build you a tank. Put him in a Ferrari plant ... and he will also build you a tank.

And as I'm typing that, Spurs open the scoring. Might be more goals in this game than expected.

All rivalries in football can be violent if the right (wrong?) people are involved.

Spurs already leading? Damn Chelsea, what happened to you? Am I the only person who thinks that Chelsea looks more dangerous when Mata is in and Oscar subs in later?

It's called Jose hates Spain. Why else would Mata be on the brink of leaving the club a year after being its best player?

It is your FFPL report!

img.fark.net

After last weeks bounty, this was a tougher scoring week. Six away wins - a very rare occurrence. I was reminded of my own mortality, collapsing from top spot down to 4th. Somehow, my banker was preserved, even if my dignity wasn't.

Nathanjr moves up one spot to 1st, with kevin_atilusa ten points behind in second. Top scorer of the week - wynsworld - rounds out the top three.

Okdaddio scored a zen to retain bottom spot. In fact, I think the bottom five all had auto-generated scores? But if auto-generated scores occurred, how did Darkwyrm manage a blank slate? Don't give up lads, things can change round pretty quickly - take for example Norfolkingchance, now on Page 1 after a terrible first couple of weeks and keeping tom_servo_bit_me on Page 2 by 5 points.

Thunderchild rose nine, edged out by Noblehammer16 who climbed ten, but was still outdone by Gonz_Hotspur who rocketed up 13 slots and into positive territory. WhereWolf and Darkwyrm both dropped ten places.

Kevin_atilusa is now BB President. 5 players have the maximum allowed +20, including Bolo_78 down in 20th.

In other league news, dead_for_tax_reasons is THIS close to breaking back through the psychologically important no point barrier. In the right direction.

Four of the top ten support Arsenal. No one scored less than 0 this week. I don't believe that has happened before? The median player is on 147.5 pts.

Come on Torres, stay on your feet.

ALL clubs have the element. Including the one I support. It was a 0-3 home defeat. My ticket was next to the family section so after the game I was close to quite a few women and children - the supports being marshalled down opposite sides of a road. Some Spurs wankers pushed through the kiddies to try and taunt and insult the Chelsea wankers into charging them. I'll emphasise that - they wanted to start a large fight, and didn't mind it happening in the middle of families supporting their own team.

Yeah, it's utterly baffling. I give Mou a little credit because he's won a lot of silverware so he knows what he's doing. But I'll say this much: as an outsider looking in, Chelsea looks toothless, they completely lack fluidity. I don't think I've seen Chelsea look this average in a long time.

Top tip the Sunderland vs Liverpool game is a x3 banker bonus. A team that has just lost its manager vs a team that was only narrowly beaten by the champions this week.

Might be worth a punt.

I went with MU, because come on. West Brom's only game with more than a goal was against Sunderland. They've been lost against everyone else.

I know teams that have just lost their manager often have the dead cat bounce but with old nasher back Liverpool looked very good against ManU. Also Everton vs Newcastle looks good with Newcastles form at the moment.

But yes you could follow the crowd and stick your banker on ManU. But who's the sheep and who's the shepherd?

They're looking really good today.  The bastards.

Although I have to say, I'm attributing quite a bit of this to Mourinho coaching like a retarded 13-year old who just got his first copy of FIFA 13

'Clears throat'

I put MY banker on MUFC at home to West Brom.

That's a good point. I'm switching my banker. Everton is undefeated, Newcastle struggling before they lost Ameobi and Cabaye, looks like a comfortable win for the Toffees.

I don't know what you mean. We are one of the most inept and incompetent cultures in the world when it comes to deception, chicanery and code breaking. The success of the 2nd world war was due solely to the Americans.
