They spelled Seinfeld wrong... Maybe they meant TV's 2nd funniest sitcom, which means they spelled All In The Family wrong.

I doubt Rickety Cricket can carry a show by himself.

Who can they spin off of The Big Bang Theory?

Stewart?

That's a funny way to spell Night Court.

People still think Seinfeld was funny? Really? Or is that some sort of retro-hipster indie thing?

/ Night Court FTW

Speaking of spin-offs, there's a good reason to have some reservations, even if you like this show.

Cheers was fine.  The Tortellis, on the other hand...

I'd watch a show starring  Super Hans

I hope it is a spinoff of Sofia Vergara's shirts and bras.

Just June! starring Dreama Walker is going to be good, but I bet Krysten Ritter drops by to guest on more than half the episodes.

I think Seinfeld is still hilarious. I tried to get my son into Seinfeld about 3-4 years ago (when he first started showing some signs of big people humor) he found it boring. He's now 18 and has been avidly watching my seinfeld box sets and finding them hilarious. He is not a hipster more of an anime dweeb.

I didn't see "archer" in the article so I have no idea what they mean by "funniest sitcom", lol!

They'd better hurry up, because Bob Newhart is getting pretty old.

I would SO watch that! Just take "Superjail" off the air and replace it with Monarch. It would work!

Stomp away.. I was 4 in 1971 when All in the family aired it was my parents show and I only enjoyed it years later in reruns. 22 when Seinfeld came out.

I have no desire to see that spinoff show.  Hell, I have no desire to see them in the current show.

If we are talking current sitcoms it's The Big Bang Theroy. Night Court for all time funniest. Wouldn't some young Markie Post

It's about time that Perfect Strangers got a spinoff. I hope Cousin Balki shows up often.

Full house doesn't need a spinoff. Joey's brilliant one liners, and spot on impressions provide enough laughter for this age.

Around here, we just use the English spelling - Fawlty Towers

Perfect ending to the show.

That was a great show. Too bad it only lasted a couple seasons.

Back on topic, I can see an Oleg and Sophie spinoff.

2013-09-28 10:33:21 AM
Crazy talk. The Sean Hannity show is already a spinoff.

/it's... it's a more straight-faced, darkly satirical version of The Colbert Report, isn't it? There's no way that host character could be real.

The Martian Manhandler: It's about time that Perfect Strangers got a spinoff. I hope Cousin Balki shows up often.

Don't be ridiculous.

If there is a spinoff of Arrested Development, it should be about a concert tour by Dr. Fünke's 100% Natural Good-Time Family Band Solution. They could hit Portland, Madison, Austin, Waterloo and Whistler.

In New York it is called I Love Lucy.

It's telling that pretty much no one in this thread is going "yeah, Modern Family!  That's the funniest sitcom!"

Since it isn't.  It's good, but it's very good at being something that almost everyone would find pretty funny.  Hard to believe that it's anyone's favorite.

/also, Community hasn't been mentioned?  Really?
