Wake Up & Smile!

/and that one with Mike Myers that was a sort of parody of a Japanese show, probably too insensitive for modern times
//all I remember is the recurring opening of a door, and Myers saying "Now you must fight the bear!"

Firstly, they are called "skits", not "sketches".

Secondly, there are no favorite SNL sketches, only favorite SNL fake commercials: ns urance/

The Baron: 'Amazing time savers' with mile Myers and heather locklear.

It's a spoof on infomercials, with a wickedly racist host unintentionally bashing all these races.
"Just look how user friendly it is. Even a Native American could work it"

I forgot about that one when I posted earlier. I laughed until I cried.

"Usually this 'easy directions' stuff is a the Holocaust!" *RING*

And it just dawned on me that the look Mike Myers had on his face was the same look he had when Kanye West said "George Bush does not like black people!"

Reagan the secret mastermind.  Phil Hartman as Reagan explaining to his staff how Iran/Contra would work, speaking multiple languages, doing complex mathematical calculations in his head, etc.  Then a girl scout or Jimmy Stewart would walk in and Reagan would revert to his classic "idiot Reagan".

Paul Simon meets Art Garfunkel in a ticket line

the Continental, the cowbell sketch, schweddy balls are all iconic for a reason, and the reason is that they're good

I'm also kinda partial to the Mango sketch with Garth Brooks, but otherwise Mango was kinda meh

Mr. Dragon is adding that the Tom Hanks 5th-episode-hosting sketch, with the VIP lounge, was awesomepants

/also, news for the hard of hearing!

That's a good one. But as far as Baldwin sketches go I'm partial to The Diner skit with Jan Hooks. Can't find a link to the video anywhere so here's the transcript.

nathanjr: The Bush/Gore debates were also some of my favorites.

The Bush/Mondale one is good, too.
