I didn't like the Arsenic Hall show in the 90s and I doubt I'll like it now.

Okay, just to be picky - that pool isn't 13 acres.  Does anybody proofread this stuff?

The City of Miami - the park's owner and operator - has for years ignored demands from county environmental regulators to monitor the groundwater for arsenic and other contaminants and report their findings. County records show no sampling reports have been filed since 2010.

Go get 'em, EPA! Shut those motherfarkers down!

Don't drink the water running down the trough urinals at Wrigley Field either.  They are almost as contaminated.

If only there were a way to get a sample of the water which the public is exposed to. Some sort of water-proof container, perhaps in the vicinity of someplace which has water next to a human body.

But...but....but....jobs! Lower taxes! Less regulation! We must preserve our precious freedums!

Free enterprise will fix it. Oh, and Jesus. Assuming he knows something about heavy metals and maybe chelation therapy.

If they tested for toxins, some corporation might be inconvenienced.

That's nothing, the million dollar housing complex, and the Seattle Seahawks training facility are built on an old Super-Fund site.

For some reason the State doesn't want people mentioning that.

I don't mind, it seems to be giving the Seahawks super human strength. Or what can pass for that with the Seahawks.

Governor Scott was elected on a platform of eliminating all those pesky regulations that keep businesses from operating in Florida. Health and safety regulations just get in the way of profitable business opportunities in Florida. Businesses can regulate themselves. Let the market decide when a water park is too toxic.

Eventually most urban construction sites will be on contaminated ground.  This is the story of the future.  A rather self-limited future, because when you build on contaminated sites, your species suicide has begun.
