I think we are beyond a Florida Trifecta at this point.

When the man tried to call 911, his attacker reportedly took his phone and smashed it onto the ground.

Dude, what the hell?!  If he hadn't done that, the old guy would have call the cops right then.  What was he supposed to do, just stand there and wait to get arrested.  How is this even news?

the two exchanged words before the 6-foot-tall 220-pound man forcefully pushed the victim to the ground, then kicking him several times, according to the report.

It's like Boris Badenov is reporting.

You might be a redneck if ...

Maybe his blood sugar dropped because he was fasting for Lint.

Looks around. Sheepishly leaves the room.

He had a bad case of static cling?

Now he's facing charges of battery on a person 65-years of age or old and property damage for smashing the victim's cellphone

And the great writing continues!

I didn't know there was a difference between 65 years of age and "old".

My wife suffers from this.
Therefore the whole family suffers

csb time,

Laundry was my favorite chore when I was single living downtown Denver.  I'd sip on a large whiskey and coke and flirt with the single ladies.  Got more than a couple of dates from the laundromat.  No laundry bullies ever observed.

Now jump a few years to me going to the laundromat in southern NM and El Paso.  I'm married and only go when there's been an issue with our machine or got way behind.  I'm married now and launder sober.  The culture down here is that the first people there use all of the top eye level driers rather than pairing the top and bottom machines where I'm from.  Us late-comers have to scrounge for any available floor level driers.  It's extremely rude and bad form.

He should have just come clean before the cops put him through the wringer. Now he's going to be hung out to dry.

Trifectas are for pussies.
*high five*nuckle bump*back slap*yea bra*

Who's up for some hood surfing?

CAR HOOD, YA WANKS. We only surf the 'other hoods' for our crack.

As someone who has used public coin laundry in Florida, I can assure you this isn't an isolated incident. The one closest to my house that I wash my large blankets in is within a trailer park.

But it's a great place to people watch. Just keep to your machines and don't agitate anyone.

I used to see people fight over dryer entitlement in Jersey City all the time.

I don't think his actions were worth the Wisk.

I don't know what's worse, the article, or the whirlpool ad on the page.

I think I've just discovered a new business model: the laundromat with the built in bar.

It may do well, depending on location.  But it isn't a new concept.  My college town had two: Bears Sports Bar and Suds & Duds.
Go Bears!

I see what you did there.

FTFA: "It looks like this bully wasn't about to come clean and take responsibility for his actions - the coward allegedly then ran away."

I don't get it: they'd expect some goon who just beat up an old man to volunteer to get busted for it? Wouldn't that be the second stupidest thing he could do, the first being the deed itself? When did intentionally implicating yourself become a courageous thing to do, or even normal and expected? How stupid are people anyway?

It's not that I don't condemn the goon for beating up the old guy -- in fact I think he should be pilloried and whipped in public -- it's that there has to be some limit to human stupidity even in the USA. Doesn't there? I mean "They" have tricked thugs into getting their faces tattooed with "I am a thug!" announcements and wearing pants that fall down when they try to run away, but most people aren't that stupid, are they? Or will cops soon be deluged with confessions of where & when you've jaywalked recently?

And it's not only criminals' stupidity I'm worried about, it's "the broad masses.'" Why not post your full name, DOB, SSN, street address, email address, license plate number and a few credit card numbers to this thread. And don't forget to include naked photos of your kids and a synopsis of your voting record for the past 10 years! I guarantee that this information will only be used to troll you more effectively in an individually selected manner that accentuates your specialness, and that it won't be sold or given to any third party --  at least not by me. You know complying with my perfectly reasonable request is the courageous thing to do, don't you? Or do you have something to hide that you're ashamed of, hmmmm?!?

Now watch, somebody will pop up to say this post is an example of my pedophilia and antisemitism. Somebody might even say I'm a member of the liberal elite.

C'mon people, it's too easy to have a high IQ when the baseline is so low.

Your post Sir is a fine example of pedophilia and antisemitism. Not to mention that you are a member of the liberal elite. There now, happy?
