Fast and Furious 7.

Step back and think about that.

People have forked over money for 7 of these god damn f*cking sad excuses for movies.

America is more f*cked than Lindsay Lohan in a frat house.

And two male leads who initially have conflict but later bond to overcome a mutual challenge that neither alone can handle.

And finally, a whole bunch of shiat goes boom real good.

And it turns out he was dead the entire time!  It was his girlfriend's head in that box!  He should have killed Benny Blanco from the Bronx!  Diesel kills Sullivan and there's a rat on the Balcony.  Diesel is Einhorn!  Einhorn is Diesel!  Diesel was Keyser Soze!

Uh, maybe I'm blind, but I didn't see any ending being spoiled there. Just some cool set shots.

People really need to lighten up. The Fast and Furious franchise has turned into the next Call of Duty, yes. But it's just harmless fun. The first one was awesome, the next few were kinda bad. But ever since the one where the manly-girl died, they've been high octane awesome. Who cares, if it's not your thing, don't watch them.

I also gotta say, in the one where the tranny died, Vin Diesel played almost the most badass he's ever played. Staying quiet and angry looking is the way to go. Makes Ryan Gosling look like a psycho, etc.

A friend wanted to see #6 when I had only seen #1.  It was simple enough that I could put the pieces together of what happened in between based off of the previews for past movies.  And it was fun and exciting enough to be a good watch.

And the twist at the end had me ready to fork over money for 7.

Not unless you wanna go back to the early 60's when car chase movies (with numerous sequels and spin-offs) first became popular.

Oh look, it's another F&F thread full of Farkers with sticks up their asses.

Get over it people.  These movies are hilarious and fun.  This franchise, over the course of its existence, has turned from a goofy Point Break remake to the dumb, balls out action franchise Expendables only wishes it could be.  It's easy to spot the ignorance in the comments from people who clearly haven't seen a F&F movie in a while.  People who think these movies are about cars with neon lights street racing are cute.

The 6th one was fun

How is Kurt Russell being in the movie a spolier? Don't they announce casting for movies before they come out?

I'm sure it will feature atleast one Smart car with some type of insane mod that lets it win every race. Driven by the bad guy who is asian.. and a ninja... because every street racing movie needs a ninja.

I think subby found a nice fark hater trifecta: f&f, Facebook, and vin diesel. If bitcoins, cronuts, and ...well... Any band ever could've been involved this would have been insta greened as a headline of the week.

Pretty much. FF5 was one the greatest action movies of the last 10 years. It's shocking how good this franchise became. When can it be said that the fifth movie in a series is the best one?

He was Fergusson saying that he does the FF movies because they help him bank for a Hannibal epic he wants to produce. Which is OK in my book.

Following rumors  that "Silkwood" star Kurt Russell would join the blockbuster franchise

Really, IBT? Kurt Russell has made other films since Silkwood came out 30 years ago.

I've wondered through all my years why nobody in Hollywood ever even touched a Hannibal story. It's got to be hard to fark that one up.

Chris pine casted as Hannibal.

Yeah, my brother and I are kinda snobby when it comes to movies as well.  But we both agree that FF 5 and 6 were incredibly fun to watch.  God forbid some people actually look like they're having FUN while filming a car movie.  The special effects in 6 were especially well done...Lin has even said most of it is real, with minor touch up in post.  Well worth the money.

/stop liking what I don't like, etc.

One of the things I love to do from time to time is watch the special features on the big-budget blockbusters and see just how they did some of the stuff they did.  One thing that's amazing is some of the movies people tend to rip are the ones that will, essentially, put the most effort into things.  Chris Nolan, Michael Bay - love them or hate them, when it comes to using practical effects, they'll use everything in their arsenal before they touch CGI.

Love it, can't wait for 7 or any of the others that follow.

Oh, and rage more, movie snobs.
