Pangea: They're not converting it into a museum or anything, Subby. Somebody cares to see it, just not me.
gweilo8888: Pangea: They're not converting it into a museum or anything, Subby. Somebody cares to see it, just not me.Subby here, and yes, I know. The headline just popped into my head, and I couldn't resist. Except because I don't watch this twaddle, I didn't realize they actually call it a diary room. Bleh. The asinine tag is well-deserved, though. The National Trust is supposed to be about homes that have real historical and cultural significance, not completely unimportant commercial pap like this. What next, the National Trust tour of homes used in the Carry On films? (Wait, that would actually have MORE cultural significance than Big Brother.)
Pangea: The National Trust should also be used to chart the downfall of a society, for histories sake, I suppose. Heh.
