But it's improving your (naughty) creativity!

Sickapie: Soooo, I applied for a job about 2 weeks ago.  A full time job, which is not really what I wanted, but any part time job that I saw wanted me to work nights and/or weekends, and since that was out, full time it was!  I got an email from a lady at the company a few days ago asking me to do a phone interview this past Wednesday, which I did and she said she'd send out another email out to the applicants today letting them know whether they qualified to come back for a person to person interview next week or not.  I didn't get a good feeling after the phone interview.  I felt I had a few brain farts, the lady on the other end wasn't that friendly, didn't get good vibes, etc.  So, I got the dreaded email today in short, "Thanks but no thanks".  Didn't even put my name on it.  Just one of those canned things from Customer Service.  Bah.  Now I have a headache.

That's interesting to say the least. Country guy here who is very happy and needs none of the 'pluses' of urban life

I'm a country girl, too. Don't like cities at all. Oh, and I did visit Maine the other day - for maybe 10 minutes. ;-)

It's a big state. Not Montana/Wyoming/Texas/Alaska big but bigger than all the other New England states combined. Come back again sometime. Did you get any hiking/climbing in this week?

I had the second post last Caturday and the next to last post as well.

Always a bridesmaid usher, never a bride groom.

cue Twilight Zone music.....doo doo doo doo   doo doo doo doo!   :D

I'm more in the mood for some Doors

[ts2.mm.bing.net image 257x183]

Keep it mellow - Riders on the Storm
Or just go a little crazy - LA Woman

Either way, it's a win/win!!

In my crazy youth (college years--'75-'79) I told everyone who would listen I wanted LA Woman played at my funeral. I've mellowed somewhat (Duh) but that is still an amazing song.

We did a couple of short hikes to waterfalls - one was the Crystal Cascades trail starting at the Pinkham Notch Visitors Center, the other was to Ripley Falls in Crawford Notch. We wanted to hike up Mt. Washington, but the weather wouldn't let us so we had to settle for hiking in the valley. Still beautiful, though.

I know many people (of all ages) hate the Doors. That's ok, I don't like what everyone else likes either. But if nothing else they were unique. No one else sounded remotely like them.
