So is "rock star" now a catch-all term like "porn star"?

Yeah, just like "near-death-experience" is now a catch-all term for any accident, including "breaking your wrist".

Hey, I broke my wrist in grade 9, and found out that in heaven, the gym teacher makes you ref volleyball for two weeks til the cast comes off.

Does this revelation mean something?

I have to say, saw Hatebreed back in 2000, and it was really cool.  They had a fan propose to his girlfriend onstage.   Not typical of hardcore bands.  So, not surprised in that one of them is hurt in a suburbanite injury.

Bones don't heal in two weeks.

I'd like to sign up for the study to help quantify that as long as we use bonsai trees.

Hatebreed's pretty atypical for a hardcore band. Positive hardcore? GTFO!

This day is worth living
This fight is worth fighting
This hope is worth hoping

Bummer. shiatbummer. I was hoping it was some band I'd never heard of, and it's one of my favorites. Glad they're able to keep touring. If they ever play Minneapolis, Denver, Salt Lake, Boise, or Spokane, I'm making the trip no question. They're inching westward over time, but pretty solidly east of the Mississippi mostly.

considering their name is hatebreed, their music is surprisingly positive and even uplifting.  all their songs are about fighting for what you believe in, not letting negative people get you down, and doing what is right.  i've seen them in concert a couple times and they're a lot of fun.  they are pretty limited in their musical style, but they have their little musical niche and they play it for all its worth.  bummer about the dude breaking his arm.
