Wonder if these companies will also post negative reviews as a service.  Have seen some verbatim negative reviews across sites.  Reviews that roughly say "oh man these guys are crooks, you're better off going to Competitor X, they're so much better".  All from anonymous users or a nondescript user name with one review (but same name on each site).

If this is illegal, what the hell are they doing blatantly advertising it on the radio?

Seriously, around here, some company is advertising a "reputation management" service where they will make sure people only get to see the "truth" as you-the-company dictate it.

The country is in a recession, the central government is deciding whether or not to temporarily shut down to save money, and the state of new york is running sting operations for internet opinions?
