Why would he be allowed to own a copy of Office in that mental state?  We need moar laws, I say!

Don't they have their own police on a military base?

I loved that on the day of the shooting, CNN was reporting he had multiple guns, including an AR15.

The only thing that takes down a bad guy with Microsoft Office is a good guy with Microsoft Office.
Ban Assault Microsoft Office!
Only the police and military should have Microsoft Office!
We should be able to carry Microsoft Office wherever we want!
Microsoft Office is a constitutional right!

Up until Willie Clinton banned the practice, people on military bases would actually be armed.

Well, they were half wrong.  During the course of the shooting he apparently acquired a 9mm from someone's body I believe.

On the day of the shooting they also reported he had two accomplices.
Compared to that, parroting unsourced bullshiat about an AR15 is a pretty minor oversight.

I loved watching a CNN reporter yesterday call his second gun a "Glock" moments after the expert she was interviewing called it a "Baretta." Reminded me of that chart...

Nobody needs these high memory capacity, high cpu utilization, professional grade, military spec programs. If you have ever seen the devastation that can be caused by a single spreadsheet you would know that these weapons have no place in the hands of civilians. Rumor has it that Snowden himself used these programs!

When will this senseless slaughter stop?

If you watch the video closely, when Alexis is looking down the third floor hallway, you can see a group of dumb asses running through his line of sight at the end of the hall.

I can't make it out, but if you see a dumb ass in a kelly green polo shirt, that would be me.

I doubt they knew he was there, as he was behind cover. They were stupid to be moving around at that time, though.

The post incident reactions of everybody have been very interesting.  People are running the scale from seemingly unfazed to rhesus monkey on cocaine.  Many of us are working out of large open conference rooms.  It makes for some unusual workplace interactions.

Yeah, as soon as our management ordered us to run for it, I thought it was a horrible idea.

But coming from a military background, when it hits the fan you follow orders even if you think they are stupid.  In that situation speaking out would only have promoted chaos and increased risk.  Better if we're going to do something stupid, do it well.

We ran from a locked secure space through a hostile environment.

And he might have drank liquids containing water earlier that day.  100% of serial killers, mass murderers, rapists, and other violent criminals have drunk water at one point or another in their lives.  In fact, some of them were serial water drinkers, consuming up to 64 ounces every day.  Obviously, water is a gateway liquid that leads to violent tendencies.
