I love that store. They send me lots of 20% off coupons and let me use expired ones. I can even use coupons that family members send me. They're very loose with the whole coupon thing.

Nice when your biggest competitor goes under.

Of course their prices are way higher than a lot of other places

I never find anything I like at BB&B

You must be extremely picky. They have like 100 different kinds of shower curtains, 100 different kinds/colors of towels, etc.

And their prices are not way higher than other places. Unlike department stores that jack up their prices and then put stuff on "sale", which is the price you would pay at other stores, BB&B has their normal prices the same as other places and the coupons actually get you big discounts.

Example of something I buy there:
Brita 2-pack chrome replacement filters
Bed, Bath, and Beyond regular price = $29.99
With 20% coupon = $23.99

The suggested retial price (what most stores charge) is $29.99

You can get it at Walmart or Target for $25.76 or $25.79, but no coupons for you!
So BB&B is still cheaper.

So much stuff is marked up at BB&B (although some 'premium' products like electric toothbrushes, razors, etc. aren't really since the manufacturer usually sets an insanely high price)..don't worry they are still making boatloads of money off of you, and you think you are getting a deal, so everyone wins.
Have you ever seen the ads for the craft stores? I don't think I've ever seen an ad without at least a 20% off coupon, and usually 50% coupons in them.

BB&B has triple the profit margin and double the operating margin of Target...triple/triple of Walmart

Hopefully they don't use these record profits to make sure their employees have a basic standard of living like healthcare...better cut to 35 hours.

The only problem with their strategy is that if I happen to be at or near a BB&B and I don't have a coupon with me, I won't buy anything. Just seems like a ripoff without the coupon.

Their return policy makes up for 5he pricing

But you've always got to keep an eye out for that "beyond" section...
