I'll bet an ELF did this!

I never trusted Wil Ferrell...

2013-09-25 05:56:51 PM
I'm not a big fan of Will Ferrell either, but I wouldn't go on a shooting rampage over one of his movies.

2013-09-25 06:11:05 PM
That's only true if he shot Will Ferrel.

I bet the real target was The Village People.

2013-09-25 06:11:35 PM
I'm sure the cops will consider every possibility other than he was driven mad by ELF stalking.

I guess it never is "too soon."

This week we all started to filter back to work and start finding our new normal.  Nothing like the release of this video to bring us all back to last week.

But I guess it's ok.  We all expected no less.

There is a lot of stuff that needs to be looked at on this. After what he did here in Newport, and was reported to the NETC Newport, they should have forwarded that information to higher for review. They sat on it.

He was having psychotic episodes. NPD reported those episodes. Someone should have gotten involved after that report.

I agree with you completely.  Releasing the video is still tasteless.  What purpose does it serve?

And yes, I'm a little biased, BTW.  This guy switched out SIPR machines in my office (a SCIF) Friday, September 13.

2013-09-25 08:10:39 PM
That's unbelievable.

It serves no purpose and should be the sole property of the investigators. I agree with you. Releasing it serves absolutely no public service.

I'll admit, it's not as good as Dio's later material but that's no reason to go around shooting people.

sure it does, all the CC folks can now know how to launch a counter attack. why if just one CC holder was there this guy would have been stopped cold.

sorry doyner but i wanted to preempt the CC crowd.

That's a little overboard, I'd say. Some of their later stuff was pretty commercial but their early work is classic.

The moral of the story is that ensuring that the mentally ill don't have access to guns will only make mentally ill owners of legal guns less likely to seek treatment for their mental illnesses, which they don't do anyways because they own massive amounts of guns.
