Yeah, you know, just one of the largest cities in Germany - that one country you might be familiar with (or might not.) Pretty obscure factoid, amirite?

What about that West Ham vs. Cardiff Capital One Cup match??? Come On You Irons!

Here in the states I think they're showing it as a picture-in-picture on the channel that sells all the soiled items returned to QVC.

Been to Germany twice. Took the train to from Frankfurt to Jena both times. Never knew about Dortmund.

I'm SO sorry you are disappointed. I hope you recover.

Ever been to Jena? Want to know some history about the city? Very interesting.

Ah, you probably know it ALL. Your an expert!

Teehee.

Jena is small, Dortmund is big. No excuses. You will be punished for this egregious error.

meanwhile, the mancs are all on suicide watch after the derby. hopefully 'pool will pile more misery on them tomorrow.

Weird, I've been to Jena as well -- getting trained at Intershop while it was still a big thing.

West Ham already up 2-0 on Cardiff!

Swindon boss Mark Cooper speaking on 5 live Breakfast earlier today

"We've got real obstacles to overcome - we've got to hope they play ridiculously poorly and we're exceptionally good on the night for us to have any chance. But we're going to give it a go."

Good attitude.

Villa sent the B team out against Spurs. It's showing.

2013-09-24 03:28:49 PM
COYS!!!! Seems like Guzan is keeping his team in it, but what else is new?

2013-09-24 03:35:28 PM
Dafoe is on FIRE recently. Good to see.

2013-09-24 03:35:56 PM
Guzan? Guzan is on the bench. Jed Steer is in goal for Villa.

Also:

45'
Jermain Defoe hits a good header. Outcome: goal

They really need to spice these Gamecast recaps up a bit.

It's like Creepy Robot Voice giving weather advisories.

'At 45 minutes first half standard English time, a severe Defoe Watch was issued for, Villa Park in Birmingham, West Midlands, until 90 minutes second half standard English time. Those in the affected area should prepare for, high winds in excess of 50 miles per hour, severe goal storms, and premature elimination. Seek shelter immediately.'

Oh I thought Guzan was in goal.  To be fair, I had just glanced at the BBC commentary and wasn't watching it.  At least Spurs are up 2 now.

I think Villa more or less just conceded the game in advance because fark the League Cup yo.

Spurs' keepers are Freidel and Gomes.

"Hugo, take the day off. We should win, but... y'know... League Cup".

The big one tomorrow is the Mancs off of getting drubbed in the derby but with no RvP VS. The Reds off of their first league loss but with the return of Suarez. Should be gold.
Hopefully Luis starts instead of Aspas.

Nice fightback by Norwich to come back from 2-0 down to win 3-2 in ET.
Spurs look like they might just maybe finally get into the CL this year.
Everton lose, so it's already a good matchweek. Here's hoping the Red side pulls it out tomorrow.

I find it hilarious that Gomes is still on the Spurs' payroll.  Coming out of the match today I think the biggest takeaway is how deep Spurs' line-up is even if they were playing against Villa's B squad.  All but 3 starters were changes for Spurs and they still put on a drubbing.  It's good to see Defoe scoring so much, if he gets to play in the league hopefully he keeps it up.

I'd make a snarky comment, but I still remember Real Madrid getting bounced by farking Alcorcon a couple years back. I still facepalm whenever I remember that debacle.

It has, hasn't it? Surprised I forgot that.
Anyway, Spurs look a lot more complete than they have in a long time.

He's still a Spur?  *checks* Wow, I thought they had sold him.  I'm amazed he still has the #1 jersey too.

I like honesty in a person, but I wish Moyes would deflect attention away from the truth with some crap about the fixture list or how Van Persie could have died. Simpletons and the media love that shiat. It's fair enough when outsiders have a pop at United; it should be different among those in the dressing room.
