Poor people don't make campaign contributions.

If you were to ask some random people on the street what the story of Sodom and Gomorrah were about, I'd bet a large majority of them would say it was about teh ghey.

It's a really misunderstood story in the Bible, which is odd because the lesson is laid out pretty clearly.  The story is about what happens to a city that doesn't treat strangers, foreigners, and poor people very well.  Their sins were being inhospitable and uncaring.

There aren't many stories in the Bible where God him[her]self destroys a whole city so you'd think people would be really interested in learning from the one time Man pissed off God so much that fire rained from the sky.  But you'd think wrong.

So I'd like to put forward the idea of taking back the term 'sodomite' and 'sodomy' and applying it as it should be: to those that screw the poor over and are inhospitable to strangers.

That is something I never got too. It couldn't be much clearer.

Ez16:49-50: "Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy. They were haughty and did detestable things before me. Therefore I did away with them as you have seen."

You know what would help the poor? A big fat trillion dollar or two stimulus, but not that let's give the money to the rich and hope they help stimulus. No, how about a big fat trillion dollar jobs stimulus. How about the government set up an Employer of Last Resort program.

Such a program is where the government itself becomes your employer. We could offer the standard unemployment insurance, but after that the government offers you a job, with benefits, and at a living wage.

No. You can't even hang your self with those cheap assed bootstraps that you farkers bought from a Chinese supplier.

This is very well laid out and factual article. Heartbreaking too.

So that means it will be ignored.

Says the same people who fall all over themselves demanding that government step in on behalf of business on a regular basis. Why does anyone take these clowns seriously again? After awhile all their gibberish just comes across as naked self interest.
