I am glad he doesn't have a reaction to Dum Dums, for whatever reason.  Perhaps he can settle the debate as to the best (apple vs. watermelon) and the worst (rootbeer vs. butterscotch vs. blu raspberry) flavors.

I'm not three years old, and does this mean subby will finally believe adults when they say they're allergic to foods, or is it still trendy to hate on those who can't eat peanuts or wheat?

Are you crazy, Rootbeer, butterscotch and blu raspberry are in the top five for best flavor, #1 being mystery of course, and the other one being Pina Colada

OF COURSE.  Of course children should be cared for.

But maayybe...

maybe if touching a peanut kills you, you're supposed to die.

Yes, since it's a fact that a large percentage of then are not, in fact, allergic. This specific example does not somehow validate  the claims of all.

Yep, I work in a sushi bar, we get at least one "Gluten allergy" a night, most of them order California rolls, which is funny as intimation crab has gluten as a binding agent. It's also in the wasabi, the pickled ginger, wakame, ika san sei, poki, tempura, inari, unagi, basically everything but the tekka maki, kappa makki, and nigiri. But when you tell people they can't have what they ordered, you usually get, "oh well I'm not that allergic"

Other allergies I get on a regular basic: Peanut (understandable, we only offer one roll with peanuts, and the allegery is common), Avocado(seriously if they are allergic they pick the wrong place to eat, as most of our sushi rolls have avocado), shellfish (again, sushi bar, full of shrimp, crabs, oysters and scallops, we're like one of ten restaurants in town that actually offer them, why not go to one that doesn't), cucumber, soy, just shrimp, wasabi, sesame, carrot, salmon, and one of my personal favorites salt. That's right we have a women who claims to be allergic to salt, we have had to, on multiply occasion, redo an order that she picked off the menu herself becaue it contains unagi or something else salty that was disclosed in the menu. She also loves our "fresh" salmon,  probably because no one has told her it's cured in a bath of heavily salted water.

I understand that there are people with allergies, but you have to understand I get paid $9 a hour to work my ass off as is, and I don't need the additional stress of KILLING YOU because I accidentally bumped a piece of your maguro on a shrimp.
