Never cared for Mozart.  I prefer Vivaldi and Chopin.

I would think ELO would be more appropriate

Mozart is boring, repetitive shiat. I'll take Brahms any day of the week over Mozart.

He's like the Steve Vai of classical composers. Technically excellent but it's all pointless deedling.

If Mozart is unavailable, you can't go wrong with this timeless classic:

Crap like this (hold, elevator, whatever music) is why I have a hard time listening to Eine Kleine Nachtmusik. Too much of anything is bad. Just make the hold silent with a very brief indication once per minute (at most!) that the call's still live.

I have Mozart's K.231 as our hold music at work

Not just too many. All of the notes as fast as possible.

The worst is his Great Mass in C Minor.

The music I like is "Yes, your account has been credited .."

So, just cut a few notes and it will be perfect?

Maybe. I suppose I'd have to hear it.

A, F♯, and C♭, and all the quarter notes.

I don't think I'd care what the music was if it was of good audio quality. Even my favorite Bach piece can irritate the hell outta me if it's scratchy, the midrange is missing and it's fading in and out. Actually listen to what you're playing for people, businesses!

Yeah, but no one saw what I did over there

My hold music would be Reich's Music for 18 Musicians.

Any piece requiring five xylophones would do, if you ask me.
