Perhaps you have experienced the disappointment and despair of plunging your hand into an ice chest and pulling out a still-warm beer. Budweiser

No power tool will make Budweiser palatable.

bottles too or just cans? i can't think of many situations that don't allow for throwing the beer into the ice cooler 20 minutes before you need it.

Glass is an insulator, metal is a conductor. It would probably make some improvement with bottles, but not like you'd see with a can, where the metal easily permits heat to escape the beer.

Frankly, I'd be a little worried about spinning the beer too fast and making it foam up or go flat.

This was invented long ago. It's called a hand.

But I want it now.

Fail, subby. Beers don't last 30 seconds around here.

Slurry of ice and water with about half a pound of salt stirred in will quick-chill a case of beer, and a few bottles if wine too.

Most of the beer I drink, I like at room temperature.

Beer only needs to be cold if it's shiat beer. Real men drink their beer however cold/warm it is when they open it.

/Once worked with a guy that polished off two cases of hot PBR a day, right from the back seat of his car. Worked all day with a wrench in one hand and a beer in the other. Never slurred his words or stumbled. After work, he went to the local bar and switched to Cutty Sark on the rocks. Every. Day.

An exploding geyser of beer is avoided because it is turned?

Or it is just slow enough to avoid it?

I highly doubt that people who are prepared enough to have a hand drill, ice, and cooler ready are not prepared enough to have an extra 15 minutes to let the beer chill on its own.

furthermore, i'd rather passively chill 24 cans/bottles over 15 minutes than actively sit there spinning a handful of them any day
