Good, cos that was crap. A mere four images of crap, but crap nonetheless.

This gets a huge viral fail.  If you're going to make greeting cars promoting a new sitcom, put some pictures from the damn sitcom on it!

Look at those admins, green-lighting sponsored crap like they own the place.

No, they're all dead.

I wonder if the sponsor get's an option.

Even though large tracts of Fark and many old and famous sites have fallen or may fall into the grip of the Buzzfeed and all the odious apparatus of sponsored links, we shall not flag or fail. We shall go on to the end. We shall fight in Firefox, we shall fight on the desktop and mobile, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength with Adblock, we shall defend our internet, whatever the cost may be. We shall fight on the paywalls, we shall fight on the survey links, we shall fight in the banners and in the rollovers, we shall fight in the blogspam; we shall never surrender, and if, which I do not for a moment believe, this internet or a large part of it were subjugated with ads for boner pills, then our firewalls beyond the seas, armed and guarded by the Linksys admins, would carry on the struggle, until, in God's good time, the New Media, with all its power and might, steps forth to the rescue and the commercialization of the old.

So how about that new...something about the '80"s show, eh?  Does that thing look like sh*t, or what?

I fell for their dastardly plan and looked up the show to see what it's about. The joke's on them though, because as soon as I saw that it's an Adam Sandler production I was sure that I wouldn't even give it the benefit of the doubt. Take that ABC marketing department!

Maybe this is a test to see if people will be civil with their comments on the sponsored links.

Yeah, I'll be civil. But I'll be honest and say that I do not click on sponsored links, as it's usually junk I have zero interest in.

I also use adblocker because I don't like the ads that come up.

Drew, admins, with all due respect; if you guys really want to increase sales, then listen to the feedback more. I, like many, have sent an email with suggestions.

Personally, I would like to see expanded categories, like a 'Health topics' section, 'Food section' and others. I know that's a lot to ask for just 5-bucks a month, but you know what?

I'd be willing to pay $10 a month, if there was expanded content and less ads. I wouldn't go any higher than $20 a month, but I'd be interested in tiered stuff.

Add on more themes, special badges, special voting rights, etc, whatever, based on membership level.

But sponsored links stink and I never click them, and I'm sure many other loyal Farkers don't either .

The Goldbergs? Is this a new American TV recycling trend about to begin?

Is this the show where they make a big deal about how "un-pc" it is by showing the dad call the son a moron? So edgy!

Also, the Goldbergs! Yet another show that pretends your average American family is comprised entirely of New York Jews.

A ripoff of the stellar idea that was That 80's Show, AND Adam Sandler is involved? What ABC producer is buying off pictures of his participation in a donkey show?

I'd consider $5/month if they'd clean out the sewer that is the Politics Tab (and the spillover into Geek). The trolls run the show; in some cases, I'm pretty sure a number of mods are sharing some of the threadshiatters.

I just won't click on an article link if I can't comment on it; sponsoring links without comments is like those pussies who put up videos that detail their views on some "controversial" topic, but turn off commenting.

Dow Jones and the Temple of Doom: Also, the Goldbergs! Yet another show that pretends your average American family is comprised entirely of New York Jews.

People who manage and make TV shows seem to have their heads up their asses nearly 100% of the time. fark the 3 camera wait-for-laughs sitcom format. It should have died in the 1990s.

I present to you: Big Bang Theory without the laugh track.

Nope, the family is stuck in boxes. In vaults, roughly 6 feet underground.
