Animated gifs haven't been funny since the mid 90's.  Please make them stop.

They're happy when they get to be petty little captain planet villains, doing the end-run around the regulatory process setup by smarter legislators, and they're confused and angry when they don't get their way.

Ok.

The sad thing is, according to the GIFs as recent as April 2013 they were excited that things were finally moving forward. Now with the sequester and pretty much nothing happening, they are shocked that for 5 years nothing has happened.

Oh, God. If I ran either one of those sites, and these dudes hadn't cleared the hotlinking with me first, I'd replace all of those with 2 Girls, 1 Cup gifs.

Wow.  Finally a reason for 2 Girls, 1 Cup to *exist* in the first place.

Also, Fred Upton is an asshole.

a $7 billion private infrastructure project that would create thousands of jobs and advance America's energy security:

How would it exactly do that since:
A) The gas would then be exported after refined.
B) Gas/oil is sold is a commodity on the open so even if the US were to produce 120% of its oil needs (actually the US is already a net EXPORTER of oil products) if something happened somewhere else in the world to drive up gas/oil prices it being produced in the US would have ZERO effect on the US market that it was being produced here.
