(Deadspin)   It's pretty obvious by now that someone at Fox Sports has it out for Pam Oliver   (deadspin.com) divider line 5

The field is the for the game and half time performances not a stage for an announcer. Get the Fark of the field and it won't be a problem.

As a former college marching band performer who has performed in front of tens of thousands, and played at an NFL game, we were told (and were given permission by stadium officials), that if there was a TV camera, reporter, or anybody in our way, to steamroll right over them.

It's not their field at that moment. It's our field, because we're the performers.

Just like this guy did with his sousaphone.

Can I biatch about how Fox Sports 1 football game coverage sucks balls here?

I mean, really, I am blessed not to have a team I care to watch carried by that abortion of a network.

WTF is up with the ads that take up 2/3 of the screen *during* plays. Fark that shiat, I'd listen to a game on the radio before I watch it on that crapfest.

UNC_Samurai: Benevolent Misanthrope: I like how she looks back and says, "Really??" after the band passes, instead of just getting the fark out of the way.  The world does not revolve around you, Pam, even though you fill at least two EEO quotas.  Take some personal responsibility for yourself, for fark's sake.

Is it her call or the field-level producer as to where they set up?

Producer.  But it's her call if she takes one farking step to the side and avoids being run down.  And it's her call whether she looks at the band, who have to march in formation or run each other down, and says, "really??" as if it's their fault.
